this is a huge bowl, the seal works great, it is rubbermaid, I think it would work great after cooking on the grill different types of meat, I just can't believe though that I would pay $12 for a bowl nowadays.I think it's like 2 gallons. did not realize it was going to be quite so big.

Great product, just like my others. Wrong size for me personally… so just check carefully as it's the 1.5 gallon not the smaller 1 gallon size in same rectangular shape. I should have looked on bottom of the ones I have and rotate. Buying new as I gifted a couple, love for fresh, serving or freezing meals. No BPA.

Great product, love using, just double check size!

I purchased 2 of these to keep my loaves bread in because I was tired of throwing away loaf after loaf due to mold or staleness. I have had bread last a month or more and be just as fresh as the day I placed it in the container. Now I am sure there are other factors at play here,but I highly recommend these for anything you want to last for awhile, The lid creates a very tight seal and there is room enough for 2 regular loaves of bread in this size.

The Rubbermaid 2.5 gal food storage container is a great choice for food storage. It's well-built and handles large quantities of food like popcorn, cupcakes, or donuts with ease. The size is practical for bulk storage, and it keeps food fresh. It matches my other Rubbermaid containers, which keeps things consistent in my pantry. The quality is high, and the lid system is convenient for staying organized. Overall, it's a reliable, functional container that gets the job done.

Reliable and Spacious

I was surprised at the size of this container when I received it as I was expecting something a little smaller. Thought I would send t back. Then, I needed a way to store my Proper Good Soups and my Starkist Chicken and Tuna Creations. This is the perfect size for a Family Reunion or Picnic to make  large salad or fresh fruit salad to be shared - will hold bread and buns. I love the color, it is clear so I can see what is next and has a beautiful red seal for those times when I need to close it.

Never too much for this Fantastic Container

This container is huge! It will hold an entire whole small turkey! It certainly was worth the money. I use it to hold large amounts of food. In case you're wondering, it will hold about 10 to 15 pounds of sugar or flour with room to add more. I'm pleased with the Rubbermaid storage containers. I have several of them now. A lot cheaper than Tupperware and cleans up and seals up just as well. It's a great quality product and very durable. I didn't put it in the dishwasher, but I suppose that you could put it on the top shelf of one.

Great Rubbermaid product!

Rubbermaid's quality is right up there with Tupperware which I have not been able to purchase in recent years.  Rubbermaid items consistently have a tight seal preserving the freshness of food items, and when sealed are wateproof as well.  I couldn't be happier with the quality of Rubbermaid food storage containers!

“Harmful Or Fatal if Swallowed”:  that is the warning on the front of a bottle of “Goo Gone”.  It is what you'll need to remove the multiple unnecessary stickers attached to this product with NASA-grade adhesive.  One should not be required to use harmful solvents to remove these stickers, ESPECIALLY on a food-grade container!  Sit the genius who came up with this concept at a table with about 30 of these Rubbermaid containers and tell that person to remove all the stickers.  After that I am certain a better concept will be adopted.  This is why I deducted 1 star.  Otherwise, the product is great.

Make Sure You Have “GOO GONE” When You Buy This

The Tupperware itself is pretty good. Sturdy, closes well, exactly what you'd imagine it to be. I took 2 stars off for the labels, though. They use some kind of glue adhesive in the middle of the labels and it has left a permanent mark where it was glued at.

It would have saved a lot of time and aggravation if there would have been overall measurements for this item.  Only listing the quarts it would hold was of no help whatsoever. I  ordered it online. I didn't realize that it will not fit in my refrigerator until I got it home. I will be returning it and then picking up what I need while I am in the store.
