I always pop the lid open first to let steam out. The 3 compartments can hold two sides and a main food. They're super easy to clean and also microwave safe.

I was super excited to give the meal prep containers a try because I am always on the go and when using their regular containers, all my food gets mixed together. Now I can keep my food items separate in a container when taking my food on the go to class, travel or work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting to do meal prep for a while and these containers with 3 compartments were the motivation I needed to finally jump on the meal prep train. Getting lunch ready for the upcoming week is easier with these containers. I can put these all out on my counter and fill up with my lunch for the week. This helps me save money since I'm not buying lunch at work.

Meal Prep Made Easier

Although it has been a few months since I bought an entire value set of three size take alongs.  I was happy with them, except one of medium size lids cracked. The other think is the divider is lower than lid so if you say filled one side with soup and other side with a nice crusty roll to take for lunch.  The soup may splash onto bread making it soggy, unless kept in a completely upright and level position.  Ki dd if difficult when taking in a bag with other daily items. 
I have recently stopped using these as they are black, and there are warnings about toxic nature of black plastics

Don't buy Black!

This is small, imagine putting a sandwich, like PBJ in it.
2 dividers, but all of the photos from comments showed 3, the pics on the page to show the item up top are blurred.
Take Along 2 section rectangle containers would have been better. This is too small for more than adding some chicken nuggets and 3 tablespoons of dip as a take along snack
