Every time we have a family get together we're expected to bring our own Tupperware for the leftovers to be brought home. grandkids take snacks and food home in these, but never brings them back! lol . This is the most affordable  way of sending food home with the loved ones and never seeing your Tupperware again!

I am a widow. I share with my neighbors when I have extra servings. I give them the bowl and all. They warm it in the microwave for a homemade meal or sometimes a big slab of dessert. They seal well and are a good price. I shared meals with a man and his little dog for months in these containers. He died in his sleep. I was happy to be able to encourage neighbors to eat well, not, frozen trays of little nutrition. I also keep a dish of wrapped candies at all times in the common area for them to have when doing laundry.

These aren't just my food storage containers, but also my microwave containers and eating bowls all in one... Kinda slobbish of me but it works great.
Like any plastic container getting anything too hot will scar, strong smells will eventually stick to it, and anything with carotinoids(tomato sauce) will stain it. The old lids(transparent) were more resistant to warping, but just don't let them vacuum themselves onto hot food and you won't have an issue.

I have a lot of these in different sizes, and they are all great for food storage. Lids fit well and don't leak. I also like that they are made here in the USA.

Great bowls for freezing soup or really anything.  I'm by myself now but still love to cook stews or chili and these bowls hold enough for a meal.  For less than a dollar each you can't go wrong.  Even if you give some food to a friend or neighbor you don't need to worry about losing your bowl.

Can't Go Wrong With RUBBERMAID

We use these to freeze corn from the garden every summer.  They last almost forever.  They're very durable, do well in the top rack of the dishwasher, and every year we replace 5-10 containers.  We have containers that I'm sure are 15 years old.  We date them to rotate them in the freezer.  The seal is fantastic, and keeps the corn fresh for years.  If we freeze corn on the cob, we freeze that in vacuum seal bags.

Perfect size and price for packing up leftovers to send home with family members. I really like that you can see what's in them, and that they stack nicely in a bag, fridge or freezer, without the exaggerated  tapering toward the bottom that wastes space. So I use them for daily things too. It's a simple little pleasure of feeling organized. It might seem like a small thing, but small things add up. I keep craft supplies in them, as well. 

These containers are advertised as being microwavable, but I don't microwave plastics (personal preference), so I can't speak to that.  I put them in the top rack of my dishwasher after thoroughly rinsing them and they come out fine, without warping and top still fits securely.  Eventually, all such containers will lose their perfect seal eventually.  But I get plenty of use from  them, and if I have to replace, it's mostly because I've sent them home with people, and told them to keep the containers. 
One extra note: If you're looking for the best container for a good fit for a big slice of bundt cake or other dessert where keeping the shape and appearance is important, these containers are sized perfectly.

Good value for a good quality, versatile product

These Rubbermaid 2.1 cups clear food storage containers 5 pk are a convenient way to store snacks/food because they can be stacked, they are easy to clean, can be stored in the freezer, are of great quality, great value for money, they seal perfectly so there are no spills or leaks, and the appearance is small, but mighty, the red and clear combined have an aesthetic that is perfect for any kitchen or anywhere you want to be. I highly recommend these food storage containers that have a great quantity for the money.

Great Product!!

Small under counter fridge. This 2 qt fits well. Like lidthat swivels to close, preventing spills, opens with slotted area to pour without ice cubes or closed position. Liquid cools well in it. Durable.Good quality, always oredictable with Rubbermaid. Good price.

These at Walmart have weak plastic lids that break at the lip where you lift a sealed lid. And when they break, they leave a sharp edge where you can get hurt. These are not the old school lids. Returned mine. I hope Walmart gets the regular kind like Amazon in the future.
