These bowls are even larger IRL than I expected. They're perfect for chips, popcorn, snack mix and mixing/ serving salads. You can really mix your salad up well without it flying everywhere and when you're full just pop the lid on and put it in the fridge. Note that it takes up a lot of valuable real estate in the fridge!

Love that these are not only great for storing leftovers, but can be placed in the microwave to reheat.   The lid is perfectly sealed even after placing in the dishwasher every time after use.  Out of all the plastic containers I have bought in the past - the Rubbermaid microwavable containers are the only ones I purchase now.

The Best Sealed Containers!

I use these for so many things, including microwaving, but note, do NOT microwave with the lid sealed on, but without the lid, or with the lid on loose, it's fine. They last a long time as well

Excellent product

I have used these bowls for years. Glad to see they are still being made. I believe they last a long time because I don't put them in the microwave. Walmart has the best prices for them. Very well made with spill proof lids.

My Rubbermaid 5.7 cup bowls!

Have purchased this item before and found it holds up well through many uses.  Great for large salads, lettuce or pasta, and even substitutes for an ice bin in the freezer.

Great multi purpose vessel

Because it wasn't the size I needed at the time I opted to return it, but I've decided that I can use it for something else so I'm gonna keep it. I have no idea how to get that information to you so you can drop the refund.

I finally have a lidded bowl that is perfect for bread making. Unlike glass that is very heavy, these bowls are light weight and the lid seals nicely. Capacity is wonderful for fermenting overnight and rising the dough. Two bowls, two lids….what a bargain!

Using for Bread Making

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These products are exactly what I was looking for. The size is perfect, and the quality is very good too. Oh, and the price was very reasonable!

Last set ai bought was several years ago. Only had to buy more because my adult children took mine. Was only able to use twice before cracking. Used to make Jello. Cracked 20 minutes after going in fridge. Seems like the company that I use to love sacrificed quality for a profit. Won't buy Rubbermaid anymore.

Cheap plastic

It's Rubbermaid,  seal is good but these are the big big bowls and their sides seem a little fragile.  Hit a spoon against the side and the bowl cracked.   I think I'll skip these large bowls in the future and go with the next size down.  Sides seem a bit more durable.

I am extremely disappointed with these bowls.  I had high expectations because really like the smaller TakeAlongs for food storage, but these are not durable at all.  They break far too easily.  I used one of these bowls for only one day when the lid shattered.  It wasn't even fixable.  I do not recommend these.
