I bought these as replacements for my other 3 pack I bought over 10 years ago. These are inexpensive bowls and I use them for all types of food storage and food preparation.

Great set of bowls.

walmart.com

usually a bit large for my cooked leftovers but works good when you make a lot of soup or like to do layered jello flavors. best for cold / frozen storage as they will melt and / or discolor with fat containing foods or stain badly with cooked tomato products. I'm like these too for homemade ice cream portions-- add some ice cream --fruit or toppings-- more ice cream - more toping and freeze for a quick sundae bowl to share or eat all by yourself !!! i like the sandwich squares size for most leftovers-- but i always have these available for oversize or double portions.

Great for salad or cut veggies --

Love these bowls! They are good quality and I have never had one leak. Great for sharing when you make soup, stew or chili. And the price is low enough that if you don't get the bowl back, it wasn't your favorite one from Aunt Millie. Buy them, you'll like them!

Wonderful for refrigerating and sharing

These are awesome for storage. Just the right size for making Jell-O. You can use these bowls for mixing too. Perfect seal. Only problem I have with these and all plastics is when you use in the microwave a red sauce, like to heat up spaghetti sauce, it stains the plastic. Hard to remove the stain, even with bleach.

I love these containers from Rubbermaid. They last a long time and hold up really well. Of course if you overcook something in the microwave it melts a bit inside, but even then I've never had a hole melt through it. Red sauces discolor it a little. But if you wash them out right away it's not bad.

Good value

These bowls are the perfect size for storing and freezing soups, stews, stroganoff, etc. plus they are reusable and reasonably priced. i definitely recommend and will buy again.

Great

The Rubbermaid food safe containers are great overall. However... Keep in mind when we got them we washed them thoroughly. Even using a dishwasher which it did pass.

However, the bowl had a bad chemical taste that leeched into foods even after three washes. So my suggestion is to soak it with a mild detergent in warm water and wash. Once done dry with towel and let it air out.

I don't know if this was because it set in a section with chemicals but it was bad. In doing this it should hopefully be good. Overall though the product is great. Works in a microwave, good for leftovers as expected. Great for storing in fridge too.

Just keep in mind of the above as we didn't expect it to be that bad. So thoroughly soak it and dry it. Letting it air out for a bit. Happy Shopping.

Disappointed in this Rubbermaid product compared to others I have had. The size is good for storing a number of things but the lids don't go on easily.

I ordered these prepping for a huge Father's Day get together and dinner and some of them is cracked. I can't even use them due to cracks in the bottom. They are useless

Junk

They are not like they used to be. They break very easy. I tried pushing the lid on 2 bowl and they cracked. Cant eat food out of them if you have a fork it goes right through the bowl.

Not made like they used to
