Less salt, better taste

These are great if you are a fan of Ruffles chips (as I am) but worry about having a coronary with the amount of salt that's in the original version. Still plenty salty in "lightly salty"! So glad Ruffles is offering this now, it used to just be Lay's and I don't like their chips as much.

Could break your  bank

Ruffles Regular Lightly Salted Potato Chips was ordered from the weekly Walmart sale flyer deal to see if it was worth paying a premium for. It wasn't worth it. I normally love lightly salted ridged chips because they taste kind of homemade. Walmart doesn't offer that variety in a cheaper chip so this was my best hope. But it must have been a poor batch of potatoes that needed to be drenched in some sauce to cover the weird taste. Since the taste of these chips don't stand on their own and need a dip then there's little point in overpaying for them.
