Ordered an XL, and after washing it did shrink a little.  No harm . That's the reason I ordered XL.  Fits well now and is baggy, but that is what I wanted. I can choose  to under layer more or just normal. Either way it fits good for ME.  
Order your normal size. I normally would order a large.  Because I ordered XL, I now have the options for under layers. These are a good weight and very comfortable. I will get plenty of use out of this. Work or play. Not for dress but good for casual, camping, hiking and outdoor activities in general.  The ladies will like this also, so Men, you may want to order more than one in case your first one some how disappears.
I like the ¼ zip feature but would prefer a1/3 or 1/2 zip cor better inside access. I'm one of those guys who likes pockets on his shirts. A t-shirt without a pocket is just a rag for washing your car.
Speaking of pockets, this does have the standard hand warmer pocket that goes from one side to the other. Good for storage of gloves, small water bottle, keys and others items that you may want to carry. If this has the ½ zip feature plus inside pockets, this would be a five star rating bands down.
Overall this is good for what I want and seems like it should last .
