Appearance

I never thought of toasters as being "pretty" but this toaster is gorgeous! I received it as a present and was getting ready to toss my other toaster out but couldn't bring myself to do that for fear of this toaster looking "used" on my countertop.  Needless to say, I have used the Russell Hobbs 2 slice toaster and it performs as well as it looks.  The bread comes out toasted perfectly and just to our liking every time.  Toast is just that, toast but having this beautiful appliance on the counter makes me smile each time I enter the kitchen.  Few people that aren't familiar with RH's ask me what in the world is it, it really looks futuristic and fits in well with my SS appliances.  So very happy with my new toaster, love all of the features including the warming rack.

This is just awesomely looking and it functions like a well engineered swiss time piece. Great finish and precision built. There are toasters and then there are toasters. This is the letter. Russell Hobbs even has great fancy packaging for gift giving

Beautiful appliance, fits snuggly and perfectly without taking up space on my countertop. Perfect toast. Note you need to adjust the time every time you toast. 2 is medium toast for sliced bread, nice and even on both sides.

Best toaster I've ever owned. Beautiful to look at and toasts way quicker than my old toaster. Russell Hobbs makes pretty appliances that last a long time. I have the kettle, coffee maker and toaster. I just order the salt and pepper shakers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my stylish new toaster. Looks great, love the slim design, toasts quickly and evenly!  Deducted one star because you have to set the darkness level each time instead of just once. Almost perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the design.  I think the top portion gets really hot, be carful not to touch the top or you may burn your hand.  I need to flip my toast 1 time at level 3 or 2 to get the right color.  The higher levels get my toast too dark.

New Toaster

there are about 20% of the heating elements that do not glow red, resulting in uneven toasting.
cant believe basics like this are not part of quality control check.
I will throw this in the garbage and buy something different.
this is like getting all dressed up to go to a dance, but cant dance....

Looks nice but doesn't toast very well, the ends burn the toast and the center is light.
