The Russell Hobbs toaster works just as it should. I don't have a microwave so use the top rack of the toaster as a handy little food heater by placing a glass bread loaf on it. The toaster design and color sold it for me, it is part of my decor of my cottage kitchen when not in service.

This toaster, besides looking really slick and unique, does the job unlike any toaster I have had before!  It toasts evenly without burning.  The dial showing the countdown is very handy and from what I have read in reviews of other toasters that have a digital countdown that makes a humming noise at all times, this analog dial countdown makes no noise and doesn't use any energy when not in use.  And the warming rack feature is also a great plus!  Well worth trying a brand you aren't familiar with!
