Ease Of Use

Finish Quality

Odor

I wanted to improve the look of my 33 year old tub and tile and sink without spending a lot of money. This product worked great for me. It has totally changed the look of my old bathroom and I enjoy taking baths again. I do warn future customers that this product applies very thin, not like paint, and so it can drip. It also has a extremely strong odor that even with windows open and fans going it either has too be applied very fast or you need to take frequent breaks or you could be knocked out by the fumes. It has been a week and a half since application and the smell has gone away. Looks great so far...

Tub and tile refresh

walmart.com

This really works! It is like having a brand new shower. However, the process is extremely labor intensive. Plan on spending a few days sweating and working your tail off to use this product. It took me a couple of days just to do the prep work. You really have to clean every square inch or else you will have issues later (down on my hands and knees scraping with a razor blade and sand paper). The fumes from this project are intense and without proper ventilation and filtered air tight mask, you could die from the fumes. We couldn't even sleep in the room next door for 3 days because of the fumes and horrible smells that come from this project. We are very happy with the project though! A lot of work but worth it in the end.

Amazing product! Very labor intensive though!

This is a great product if used correctly. The surface must be clean and slightly sanded for the product to stick. Use lots of thin coats. The first coat looks terrible. The big tip is to use Whizz flock 4-inch roller applicators. They are light gray and made for enamels, varnishes, and urethanes. I have tried several other applicators and they will dissolve into your work after just a few minutes. The ends of the Whizz flock will eventually dissolve off but will provide a great slight orange peel texture if you work quickly. This stuff is very caustic so make sure you have good ventilation.

Big Tip When Using This Product

I was very skeptical using this product thinking that there was no way it was going to turn out that great, but boy was I wrong, it looks so great so clean so bright and so smooth it is truly a brand new tub, it coated the tub so evenly and nicely I couldn't have used anything better!!! I'm really glad we didn't have to haul that heavy purple tub downstairs!!!

Turned out amazing!!!!

At first it was watery but I let it set for awhile and then it was perfect. Might have been my fault because I didn't read the directions! This was my first timing painting. I really like this stuff so far! I ordered 2 more can to touch up and do my tile floors!

I really like this product!

Worked great. My old tub looks new. Goes on good. Prep is the key. Fumes are a bit strong, but not horrible. Wear a mask for sure. Smell doesn't stay in the house long. Make sure to open a window.

Great product

Great product, use on my kitchen counter and most of my friends thinks I had a new kitchen counter put on.

Great product, great for a facelift, kitchen or bat

Easy to use with the usual prep for painting. It gets tacky within two hours so use quickly. I just did it so I have yet to run water on it. I did my tub and small vanity with one can. Would recommend and purchase again

Easy fix to refresh an old tub

I'm sure the product is ok, but the carelessness in packing it for shipment was insane. Quart Cans of liquid epoxy were loaded SIDEWAYS in the corrugated box then labeled on the UNDERSIDE of the case so air pillows were ABOVE the product, not beneath or on the sides or the ends. ZERO protection for the product with liquid epoxy oozing from the can lids. A stinky mess!! Cmon Walmart, learn how to pack more intelligently! THIS END UP arrows on the outside of the box would be so easy to add with a Sharpie Marker!! How brilliant would that be!! Do not EVER ship paint cans on their sides with NO insulation beneath!!!

Great Product - Terrible Shipment!

I've painted a lot! First coat is really thin so it didn't cover very well. Nothing told me that was typical. It claims to be self-leveling, so don't worry about brush marks, but in subsequent coats, roller marks show up. It's better to have several roller covers available, because the paint thickens over time, and a used roller gets too gummy. I used a short nap, and then a good foam roller, but the thicker epoxy started pulling off pieces, so I sanded a bit between the second and third coats, necessary to get suitable coverage. Even with three coats on the inside of the tub and top rim, not the front, I had 1/3 of a quart left over. I'll consider a different product next time.

It was more challenging than anticipated!
