I guess, unlike other reviewers, I supervised my kids while they play with putty and slime. My kids love it! The putty is durable, safe and actually nothing has been stained by it. I wouldn't let my kids play with putty or slime on my couch because of common sense. we have green, purple, and gold putty. Mostly all dyed things like putty or slime will stain when you leave kids alone with them. and they stay on clothes for hours.

This is a great product!  I don't know why Ryan's World toys are receiving such poor reviews.  We bought this for our 5 year old son who is a huge Ryan fan.  The putty was some of the best we've ever purchased.  He loved the mystery of seeing which color he would get (it turned out to be a beautiful sparkly metallic green), it has a great texture, and we haven't had any problem with staining or sticking where it shouldn't.  He's still playing with it a month after purchase, and I'm currently shopping for more for stocking stuffers.  Great product.

Love this putty!!!

My family loves this putty! For the people complaing - yaâll need to learn how to play with putty. Play with on a clean, hard, washable surface, like you would when playing with clay or slime. Warm it in your hands if its not streachy enough.

My kids love to play with this putty and it makes me so nervous. Their grandparents bought them some and they left it laying on a fluffy carpet overnight without me knowing and I could not for the life of me take it off. It comes in many colors. If left on a flat surface it expands to look like a puddle. My carpet has gotten damaged, a t-shirt as well as a costume. The putty will “leak” on to the floor if left on the edge of a table or overflows from a container. It leaks in tiny strands. The putty will come off if hand washed vigorously but a lingering stain will stay. I tried many detergents and stain removers and none of them worked to remove the stain.  Overall if you are careful with storing the putty it should be okay but if you don't trust your children to do this or yourself I would not recommend.

Fun to play with but beware

Purchased for my nephew. Buyer BEWARE! Don't let them play with it on the floor! After throwing it around and playing with it, it made my floor EXTREMELY SLIPPERY!!! I mopped 4 times and it's still slippery!! I warned my sister about it. She text me that night and said I was RIGHT! Now her floor is slippery.

This product is pushed by a family that started out good then graduated to pure greed. The products have little to no educational value and the Mystery Putty alone is enough the tell you to stay away from it except YouTube marketing forces the junk to the kids. Way over priced and serves no value. Stay away and wean the kids off of Ryan's Greedy mom.

Greed before learning and safety

My husband bought my twins this putty they're 4 years old. I DO SUPERVISE my children when they play with such things. However when this was purchased I was working. I don't think either of us would believe the mess it could potentially make. We've had similar items that never made a fraction of a mess. It's a terrible terrible product. It left a large stain in one of the car seats and a horribly large stain in their bedroom carpet.  I've tried everything to remove it and unfortunately nothing is working. Paints, markers, play doh all easily can be removed, this is an absolute nightmare. I don't think a product intended for children over 3 should contain a horrible mess like that. It stained their hands and clothes and everything else it touched. The 3.88 was the biggest waste of money spent. The product should be discontinued. I hope no one else wastes their money and buys this for their children. We will never purchase another Ryan product.

This stuff has stained my couch. Do not buy any of his products!!!

I told my child to play with it on my linoleum kitchen floor because I didn't want it on our carpet and now our floors are slippery. This product is trash and now I'm trying to figure out how to restore the traction on my floor

Slippery Floors

This is absolute garbage and they should be ashamed of even putting this on the shelf. It stains EVERYTHING. Maybe Ryan's parents could buy us new carpet because I have 2 nice big stains that I have used multiple products on, including vinegar (which will usually pick ANYTHING out of our carpet) and stains remain. Not only that, but the blue spots seem to multiply and the putty has been long gone in the trash for weeks now. No product marketed to little kids should make this much of a lasting mess. Don't buy this garbage, and I suggest walmart discontinues carrying it. Shameful to market such trash under your kid's name.
