I was looking for a case that would protect my phone, without adding a lot of bulk. This case is great for that and looks good. With the cover closed, the window allows you to receive or hang up a call. The window is 2-1/2 " by about 2-1/2 ". Cover stays closed, and the phone sleeps until the cover is opened. Since the back of the case is the battery cover, you still have your waterproof properties. The on-line price was fair, as well.

Great looking cover! Comes in different colors. Like the fact that you can answer phone without opening cover and you can use camera also with cover closed. List price is 49.99, that is what I paid at Wal-Mart store. Wife wanted one too so I went on Wal-Mart.com and got same cover for half the price! Depending on color, price ranged from $23-$28.

I still got the Zagg screen protection but that, along with this slim cover make for a stylish and practical protection for my new phone. I love the way it replaces the battery cover for a low profile. The SView feature is great but I wish it could activate on a touch instead of having to open the flap. Still brand new so let's see how the hinge edge stands up to repeated folding behind the phone.

I love the case for it's sleek, professional look and the window that allows you to see a few key items. However, I note many of the same problems that others have mentioned.

1. People have commented that the front cover doesn't stay closed. I've found that when it's new, that is the case, but once it has been worn in a bit, the cover will stay closed.

2. When the cover is folded back for use, it blocks the speaker and you get very little sound.

3. The squared off design doesn't allow the phone to work with any of the docking stations that are available.

Nice Try But Has Problems

If one opens this cover like a book and folds the front cover anywhere behind the phone, and I mean just bent back a short distance, not level with the phone, when you close it, it will not stay closed!

The phone has to be laid face down to "flatten" the cover closed.

Way to expensive. The phone cannot be started by touching the covers' screen, the cover must be lifted. So much for seeing your weather and pedometer on the fly.

Flip open and closing failure

Got this cover as part of a package when I bought the phone. Love, Love the concept and the color but think it fails due to not staying closed even when laid flat. This causes the screen to remain on, or come back on even if you closed it firmly. Needs a catch or clasp of some type to stay closed. Would buy another if you could fix this simple problem.

Doesn't stay closed

I got this because of the slim design and nice fake leather feel. First time I dropped the phone, about 3 feet off the ground, it hit the ground and the back popped off, leaving an exposed back of the phone. I will be bringing back today..

I was also not thrilled by the flip cover, especially when taking pictures, had to keep making sure the cover did not get in the way.

This Case Does AMAZING Things, The S-VIEW is very cool.

Now My Negative Review:

The MAJOR problem however is the face that the front part of the case, has no magnetic type of device that makes it stay shut, and it is constantly open. It actually will not close, unless I have it upside down or I am physically Holding it. Disappointed in the Design. Should have magnetic way to close, Button, snap, zip, ANYTHING really that would keep this thing closed. It might however eventually break in, but I have been using it for a week, and still nope.

Major Flaw with Design

It's great looking and the S View feature is nice. But unfortunately the leather is a little bit too stiff and tight, and the magnets in the cover are too weak too keep it closed.

If it softens up after using it for some more time maybe I will like it more, but until then, it's a somewhat disapointing accessory.

Won't stay closed.
