My original ones stopped working so I had to order these replacements. They were ready to install right where the old ones were and connected to the old wiring and once connected they worked. It was awesome to have electric garage door opener again especially in time for winter.

Almost impossible to install these incorrectly. Worked the first time. Needed two screwdrivers, one Phillips, a and a little flatblade. Three thumbs up 👍👍👍

Replacement sensors

Ordered these to replace two old ones that had gotten too sensitive to ambient sunlight (south facing door) to continue to operate. These new ones were easy to install and function perfectly, even in direct, intense southern exposure. Very happy with the product.

Working great, even in intense sunlight

I currently have an 20+ year old GeniePro ScrewDriver and the sensors just started going out! The old sensors were giving me 2 red flashes and a pause, per the manuel it states that the sensors could be failing. And given the age, I decided to replace the senors before calling out a local garage tech to troubleshoot. Thank god I did! I found these on the genie company website and another purchasers' review had the same model, so I purchased these with confidence. The sensors are a different style now compared to the original ones (square to tube). Easy to install, instructions were clear. Am a female in my 40s and I was able to install these on my own under 20 minutes! I hope my review helps someone that still has an GeniePro Screwdriver model!

New Sensors for 20+ yr Geniepro Screwdriver Model!

Excellent replacement.  Easy installation.  Removed old sensor and installed new sensor in it's place using the existing wire.

Safety Sensor replacement

These Safe-T-Beam sensors were packaged well and they were easy to install in an existing wires on both ends. Wish I could've purchased it sooner but I'm glad I have them now! Quality at its finest!

One of the Genie Products I've purchased!

Our garage door had begun to fail when sunlight fell inside the garage.  Replacing the obstruction detection sensors with these units fixed the problem.  Easy to install, work as they are supposed to, highly recommended.

Easy fix for sunlight interference

A simple 10 minute upgrade from my previous model sensors, and the problem I had with morning sunlight interfering with door closure is fixed. However, my older model Excelerator now will not stop with the remote once I've triggered it; it must continue until the door is closed or the beam is broken.

Simple replacement...with one catch

bought for my GLX9500 which uses plug connectors. Followed instructions to connect to screw terminals on opener which meant cutting off the plug. Tried for over 2 hours to make this work. Finally realized I needed to reinstall the plug onto the wires and plug into the female plug on the opener. Worked fine. you should rewrite instructions for this application.

The Safety TBeam system failed and ordered new sensors which I installed still didn't work.  Called you chat line and got a recommendation to replace the circuit board 
Which I did. Sensors still didn't
work.  Bought a roll of wire and rewired entire system and still doesn't work. 
Door opens normally but have to hold button to override to close which is an issue going away from the house each day.
