After reading the reviews about this product, I can see that one either loves or hates the new Fuzzy Coat nail polish. I have to say that I really enjoy the new look. When you use these types of polishes, you have to use some good judgment. Just like with a polish that contains a lot of glitter, this polish will be rough when applied and hard to remove. It's just a given. I don't think I would apply this directly on bare nails because 1.) you would have to add multiple coats for it to show up and 2.) it would be very difficult to remove. I bought several colors and like to do a layered effect. I apply a base coat of polish (usually a dark color) and then put the Fuzzy Coat on over that polish. I usually only do one coat of the Fuzzy and still get the look I want. Plus, removing it isn't difficult that way. I have had a lot of compliments on the polish. Someone even told me it reminded them of the shell of malted milk eggs that you see at Easter. I seal in the Fuzzy Coat polish with a coat of the Sally Hansen Mega Shine Top Coat. That way, my nails do not feel rough. I am very happy with the product and look forward to new polishes in the future!

This is a cute idea, but I didn't love the look.... my nails didn't chip which was a plus.... the polish was difficult to remove, it took a while and a lot of polish remover

I love this product! I use it all the time! It does take quite a few coats to completly cover the nail, but the effect is supper cool! It does not feel as think when it dries! It lasts for about a week (even in the pool). It is ok if it chips because it is easy to touch up and it can even look like it is supposed to be chipped!

Love this!

I expected something like actually having soft and fuzzy nails but its like a glitter. That being said, yes it isnt the easiest to get off but i love how it looks. I used it alone, 2 coats, and the amount of "fuzzy" on my nail was perfect for me also i used it over a base color and it was awesome. I dont like to always put designs on my nails, haloween for example, i one week did a design (candy corn) and then i decided to use the black and white fuzzy coat over an orange polish. The amount of complements I got was amazing and idk how many times i head "oh, wow thats cool what polish is that i want to try". its a quick and easy way to give a little extra flare to your nails. :)

I love it

I love experimenting with nail polish and this was a fun experiment even though it really turned out not to be fuzzy. I didn't really expect it to be like felt fuzzy though so I wasn't too surprised up on application. It does take 3 to 4 coats for good coverage - you can really keep applying if you want. My pic shows 3 coats and one more wouldn't hurt. It definitely has a texture and is eye catching. I found I had to file down some spots where my fuzzies dried beyond my nail tip - simple fix, no problem. I do expect this will be challenging to remove, however I have used the sugar coat/liquid sand/glitter products in the past and eventually they all come off with enough nail-polish-remover-encouragement.

Not really Fuzzy, but really Fun

This product is great! Alot of people use it by itself as if its a regular nail polish. This is a 3D effect top texture polish. If you want effective results, apply a base coat that is a color opposite of your texture nail polish then apply the texture nail.

Great

I purchased the peach fuzz polish and am not happy with the results. The product looks great in the advertisements, but fails in real life. In order to get a real 'fuzzy' look, you would either need to paint your nails with a base coat color similar to the fuzzy color, or you would have to put on 10 coats of the fuzzy color!

I also think it was a mistake to make this shiny. A matte finish would produce a better effect.

Not what I expected

I love the Sally Hansen brand and have never been a disappointed customer ... until I tried the Fuzzy line.

I followed the application tips as written on the website (shake gently, apply two-to-three coats) but did not achieve the desired result. The advertisements make the Fuzzy line look like the entire nail is covered and thick, with no showing of the real nail underneath. But even when I went back and put on two additional coats, I was left wanting. It seems like this should be advertised/classified as more of a top coat than anything else.

I'm still a Sally fan and am looking forward to trying the Sugar Coat - hopefully that one will work out better!

Disappointed

I bought this nail polish thinking that it would actually make it look like there is fuzz on my nails. It did not look anything like fuzz which was disappointing.

After a few days it began to chip and my nails would get caught on clothing and in my hair which was not a pleasant experience.

When I went to take the nail polish off it would not budge and I used an acetone remover. I actually had to chip off as much as I could with my nails and then soak my nails in nail polish remover..This still DID NOT make it come off easily.. I had to scrub my nails and really work to get the nail polish off..It actually hurt..

I will NOT be using this nail polish again and I do not recommend it.. waste of my money and not enjoyable at all.. very disappointed

Torture to remove!

This polish looks great on and I got a lot of compliments. Problem is, you can't get it off! Cotton sticks to it so bad you have an even bigger problem picking all that off. I tried soaking my nails in polish remover and still had to pick and chip. After about 3 weeks I still have little patches of it stuck to my poor dried out nails.

Do not buy this unless you want a challenge.
