I've been buying this product for awhile now. I love it. I've tried the strips that have the separate wax tub. After using the pre waxed strips I would never buy the tub again. These strips are more consistent and a lot easier to use. They work great !

I have used these for years thanks to my native American ancestors that made me hairy. Do they hurt? Of course you are ripping hair off of your face. My tips are make sure you warm them between your hands. Press them firmly, close your eyes breathe many times and trick yourself lol. I am still not use to them but they work! My upper lip and side burn area will be very soft for about a week. Then the process starts all over again.

Faithful lip waxer

Maybe I did this wrong, but it just wasn't a success for me. I purchased this for the random facial hairs that invade when you have completed the wonders of menopause. I used to be able to get by with tweezers. Either my aim is off, the hais are getting smarter, or my tweezers are needing replaced more frequently. FWIW, at least a couple of times a year, I purchase whatever is the tweezer of the year at that point. They are great for a few months. And then, here we are. 
I felt the instructions could use a little more detail. You have to assume quite a bit. Step 1 is to rub it with some pressure to warm up the wax. Step 2 is to apply it in the direction of the hair growth. Step 3 is to yank it off. 
I tend to overthink things, but my questions were. 1. How long do I rub this, and how do I know it's enough? Is this why mine failed? These are a bit spendy to practice 3 or 4 times, and is that really even good for my skin, to try these even 2 or 3 times to the same spot? There is no way to tell if the wax is right. Is it 5 seconds, 30 seconds? I tried both. 
Step 2 is to apply it in the direction of the growth. So if my hair is popping out straight down, I put the strip above it and SMOOTH it in a downward direction? Because the only success I had was applying the strip hoizontally to the assumed hair growth and yanking sideways, vs applying vertically, perpendicular to the growth, and yanking up. Which seems to  be exactly the opposite of what they want. And again, FWIW, that was a nearly invisible light, fine hair that was quietly just existing that the strip got, not the dark center of attention invading hair right beside it. 
And step 3, yank it off. When? Like right away? Wait 10 seconds and let the (supposedly)  warmed up wax get its grip? Go off and vacuum then yank? I tried all. Well, I didnt vacuum. I smoothed, gripped and yanked. I smoothed for about ten seconds, waited 10 seconds, and yanked. That hair must have roots clear to my brain. Or it's really a scalp hair whose roots got clear thru my skull and are emerging from my chin now. Because it's not being yanked. But it wasnt just that one. I tried others that, when I eventually gave up, came out easy enough with tweezers. 
What am I doing wrong?
I bought this brand to try first, it's a good name. I thought. So 1. Ms Sally Hanson tech writers, you need some overthinkers on your team to help you redo these instructions. 2. Developers? Who exactly did you test this on. and could you speak on best preactices, please? 3. Beta testers? Hello, is anyone there? Shame on you.

Is it poor quality or poor instructions?

Works well but it is difficult to separate the the 2 films of plastic. I personally warm up the wax by placing the plastic under my breasts while I do other things but while fussing about trying to separate the sheets it can cool rapidly. I would like the company to make an "easy tab" to pull apart the sheets.

Could be better

They have changed these recently.  The packaging is no longer the nice ziploc bag to store the wax strips so they stay nice.  But what's worse is they changed what they used for the actual strips, the material they switched to hold the wax is no longer easy to warm between your hands as you are supposed to and it no longer works as well. I have been using these strips for more then fifteen years and am so disappointed the changed them

Wish they would have stuck with what worked!

Pathetic product… would suggest not to buy this one. I tried to remove upper lip hair using this wax strip and I got my upper lip skin peeled off leaving a mark.

I really dislike it its sticky and messy doesn't remove hair sticky stuff stays on areas that were used for over 3 days it's like u can't wash it off and I still have close to a box full I will never use again

I hate it

I used it yesterday and it burned my face I followed the steps that were on the box and now my face is burned from it will never buy again I don't recommend these if you are a woman with facial hair use the actual wax that comes as beads

I purchased the new vegan face wax strip since I no longer could find the original,  and I'm regretting it so much. I did everything I was suppose to do. I washed my face gently with soap as I always do and pat dried, waited fifteen minutes and then waxed. Well it's been 10 hours now and my chin is still stinging, burning,  and looks like my skin is raw and some skin was removed. I applied a cool face cloth and then neosporin. I'm still in pain. As I'm writing this now, my face is still stinging, burning and irritating.  I will be calling Sally Hansen in the morning since it's Sunday now, and hopefully they can suggest something if my face don't heal. Why won't your site allow me to upload my horrible looking face?

So this was my first time waxing and I said what the hey! I got this and was pretty excited to use it. I used it on my upper lip to start off with and let me just say that i was not very pleased with the results. The first couple of times going over it there was little to be seen on the strip. I continued to go over the area and noticed some hairs appeared to me waxed off, but then realized less than a week later that the hairs were simply broken off when they grew back! The only thing this was good at removing was the skin after repeated failed attempts to remove the hair which left scabs! SCABS!!! Turn around and run away! This is not worth your time, money, or the pain!
