Can last a day with moderate use, but drains quickly with heavy features.

I had no idea how much I would enjoy this watch. I did not think it would work on me, but its feedback makes me want to be more active. It helps me notice when I sit too long, and I love the faces (spent way too much time customizing mine, but I can't honestly say I regret it). I was worried about the battery, but it was never a problem, and with the quick charger, it fills up real quick. The display is awesome, and it is very well built. After several months of heavy use, it still looks like new. I also really like the gestures, and specifically the "double pinch". The speakers are better than I would expect, speech (Gimini) is very clear, and when I am really lazy, I make quick phone calls from it (mostly to the fam). I love paying with it (personally, I use Google Wallet), and I love to have DUO on me wherever I am for 2FA.
I received it as a gift from my in-laws (I know... lucky me...), but it was not too profitable, as I liked it so much that I bought the 40mm Watch8 for my sister (I know.... lucky her...).

Love this watch!!

Samsung Canada

I upgraded from my Galaxy Watch 4 to get the newest health sensors. As a senior, every moment is precious. The Galaxy Watch 8 supports my physical/mental health routines. Tracking my heart health is so important. Every senior should have one/

A Senior's Best Friend

I bought the galaxy watch 8 and traded in my watch 4 classic. The trade in was seamless. I was skeptical about all the hype samsung was saying about the watch. But you actually get used to it and half the time you forget your wearing a watch, it really is a nice feeling. Not sure about some of the new features and how accurate they are as they are still in beta but still cool to see and great ideas. Would recommend this watch.

Great watch, well worth it with the trade in.

Upgraded my Watch 42mm (2018) to the Watch8 44mm, and I'm having a blast with it. I was barely using my first watch and had reservations on how much use I would get out of my new Watch8.

But a week later all those doubts are out of my mind! I use the watch daily to track my sleep, measure my BMI every morning, and calculate all my daily fitness objective.

The ease that the UI provide to access my music during my runs or cycling has been such a boon!

And I can't stop playing with the amount of display customization Samsung has provided for the device. Every event I try out a new watch face, its always switching between casual, business and sports mode regularly!

Definately recommend this!

A Watch for different faces!

The battery life is terrible. I have to charge it twice a day sometimes.

Battery life is terrible

It is a great product and perfect match with your Samsung Galaxy phone, the only downside is the battery only last maximum 2 days without always on display

Great product, the only downside is the battery

Tyler

As others have said, the battery life is an issue. Less than 2 days. I knew that going in, but purchased anyways because of the extra features other watches don't have.
What I am really annoyed about is that fact that I bought this watch under some false pretenses.
In doing my research, I saw that I could download the Samsung watch app on my android phone to access all the features.
Well, as it turns out, I can not use the specific features I bought this watch for as they are not compatible with my phone (EKG and bp). So I spent more money on a watch with a shorter battery life and unusable apps.
This is very frustrating and I thought I had researched my purchase fully. This should be made clear in the information available.
This issue will definitely influence any future purchasing choices I make.

Unusable features

Coming from Galaxy Watch 7. Slimmer design and One UI 8 makes best combo. I like these bands but have to start a new band collection. Still battery is same as previous one. Samsung loves cutting features on base models. (RIP S26 base)

Second best circular in a square thing after pizza

I purchased the watch as a Christmas present for my husband. After wearing the watch for 6 days the battery life was not improving. The most you will get for battery life is 1.5 days with all features turned off. This makes it an expensive digital watch. Very disappointed when comparing to Garmin's that he was getting an average of a 6 days battery life. I do not recommend purchasing this watch especially if you currently have a Garmin and are thinking of trying a Galaxy watch.

Very poor battery life.

I ordered this watch thinking it was a Canadian model as the description has SM-L320NDAAXAC mentioned in it, but the watch I received is from Latin America, therefore you cannot even select Canada as your country, locking you out of features. Very deceptive advertising on the sellers part, will be returning.

Not a Canadian Model!
