The HDR is excellent with deep blacks, punchy highlights, and real pop without looking artificial. Colors absolutely explode in 4K video. Everything looks vibrant and alive. Brightness and contrast are outstanding, responsiveness is snappy for gaming or fast moving content, upscaling handles lower-res stuff cleanly, and the vibrancy is genuinely impressive.

Fantastic monitor with excellent picture quality nice anti-reflective coating. Deep blacks, amazing contrast.
The multifunction button at the back could be better, and the auto input/source switching could be better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The adjustable brightness and angle of the monitor on its stand, helps with vibrancy as well as keeping a clear and well rounded experience. I rarely see glare and although i run some labor intensive games i rarely see screen tairing. Responsive.

Sweepstakes review

Do not buy the G80SD. Samsung completely ruined a premium OLED panel by stuffing it with their awful, ad-ridden Tizen Smart TV software. Switching inputs or waking up my PC is an absolute nightmare; the monitor constantly drops video signals, throws "No Signal" errors, and forces me to navigate TV apps just to see my desktop. To make things worse, the VRR flickering is unbearable during games, and it suffers from terrible black screen bugs. It feels like an unfinished, bloated beta product. Avoid it at all costs.

Laggy, constant signal drops. Worst monitor!
