These were great for my two youngest grandkids to learn

walmart.com

perfect

Great little paper books for helping your child read. A few words on each page about 8pages a book..well at least the first book im working on now with my son...

Great for starting out

The mini books are such a success towards my sons learning. Due to the short sentence he is more willing to read and it is easier for him to remember the words! I love this product fir my 3yr old! This is a must buy for parents who want to educate early!

Excellent product!

i bought these for my almost five yr old. she is learning to read. this box is super tiny. all the books are not hard. they are paper. each book has a few pages. short short stories. couple words per page like " i need a table."
i love them. there are so many of them and so many awesome different stories. my daughter kept wanting me to read one after another. kids will get addicted to this to the point where they will read themselves.

tiny thin books but well worth it

Very nice for little kids first reading experiences. Books fit little hands perfectly

AWESOME. My granddaughter is in kindergarten and they are the perfect. As she progresses I will be buying the additional progressive sets. I strongly recommend these as additional instruction or reinforcement. Practice makes perfect. I am a teacher and I highly recommend these!!!!

The stories are ok. My problem was there are barely any words on each page. I was hoping for more words and repeating phrases so my daughter could work on her phonics. These books would be more suited for a more advanced reader. Maybe 1st going into second grade.

Overall these books are a good start for beginning readers. They are small and easy to take on the go. They are repetitive and the pictures help clue kids in on what word they might be reading if they need help. My only complaint is I wish the pictures were a bit more straight forward for example for the word home in one of the books it shows an anthill as the ants home. While that's great for an expanded definition the goal at this age is word recognition and in some instances the pictures aren't helpful. Overall though and for the price this is a good set to start with.

Great first reading set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] these are not good books for beginner readers. there are hardly any sight words. I'm very disappointed. you have to already know how to read to be able to read these. a first grader cannot read this without a lot of help. why is it so hard to find books that have mainly the sight words there supposed to learn? too many extra words that you are not even able to sound out easily if you're just learning to read. .

where are the sight words
