Very nice for little kids first reading experiences. Books fit little hands perfectly

Beginner books

great little book collection

Love the books. The are a little small in size but other than that. They are great.

JUST WHAT I WANTED

My 5 year old grandson is learning sight words and these books are perfect for him. He loves to read them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My idea was to help my 2 year old grandson get ready for school. I see it to only be a positive influence.

Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] thought the boss would be bigger.

nice books

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3 year old likes the books… they are ok

Short easy readers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] these are not good books for beginner readers. there are hardly any sight words. I'm very disappointed. you have to already know how to read to be able to read these. a first grader cannot read this without a lot of help. why is it so hard to find books that have mainly the sight words there supposed to learn? too many extra words that you are not even able to sound out easily if you're just learning to read. .

where are the sight words

The stories are ok. My problem was there are barely any words on each page. I was hoping for more words and repeating phrases so my daughter could work on her phonics. These books would be more suited for a more advanced reader. Maybe 1st going into second grade.

SCHOLASTIC TEACHING RESOURCES FIRST LITTLE READERS PARENT PACK (Set of 3) guided reading level A parent pack of three small paperback books, front-facing stacked view showing title text and cover art, suitable for parent-child early reading practice on a plain white background.
