Because I live in NY, they banned the plastic bags. I was using them for leftover food scraps.  Now, I use these for that purpose and Not for composting heehee. These little bags hold a lot and are pretty durable.

Good Quality

They really are 2.6 gal as stated on the box!  very good

Unlike other Bio bags this one does not start melting in kitchen - seems to have better life span than other bags we have used.

Need better material

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed 2.6 gallon (10 liter) trash bags which are almost imppossible to purchase at Walmart (either in store oo online)  Purchased the compostable option as they were the only ones available with drawstrings.  Item is very thin and may or may not work for its intended use.  Unfortunately, unless Walmart can find better availability, we may have to start using a different vendor for this particular item.

These appear to be those horrible grocery store produce bags, just remarketed and made of a different plastic.  They are hard to tell where one begins and the other ends, and impossible to open.  I be tossing the whole roll in the compost and going back to my old brand.
