It's very nice.   The lid is so heavy I had a hard time getting it on.   It fits a lot of blankets inside.  Looks great!

GREAT deal for the $$$. I shopped around for about a month. This was, by far, the least expensive trunk table that I found. Was a little nervous about buying something I had to put together, but it is a VERY nice piece. Assembly instructions were extremely easy. I was able to put together without the husband's help!

I like the chest. It looks rally nice the design is stylish.  It took a little bit of time to put together.  The problem came with the spring hinges.  The springs are too strong for the wood. When I went to close it the back of the chest cracked.  I'm disgusted.  I'm not taking it apart and shipping it back.  I think that's what they count on.  I will use it without the spring hinges for storage and as a coffee table.

A little disappointed...

I ordered chest and it arrived prior to the original delivery date (I was pretty excited about that). When I unpacked the chest, it was missing all the hardware. I called the company and they were very helpful, and mailed me the hardware which I received three days later. As I started to assemble the chest, the hardware pack that was sent must have been for a different item. It was missing the corner reinforcements, along with a few screws. In addition, we got extra hardware that did not go with the trunk. The instructions were very simple, until it was time to attach the lid of the trunk to the body. This was extremely difficult part of the assembly. It was hard to hold the lid in line with the trunk, even though the instructions said to keep both items lying on the ground. The side braces that hold the lid, was the most difficult to attach, because the braces only allow the lid to open less than 45 degrees. The trunk is beautiful and sturdy .  I would recommend to have the company ship it already assembled, and replace the side braces to allow the lid to open up more than the 45 degrees so that you can have easy access to whatever you store in it.
