This is the first small Sharp MW I found, and by small I mean .9cu   It's an excellent unit.  Performs extremely well and replaced an LG which honestly could be hit or miss due to the buried menu and selection options.  First time I saw they made one for my use as most are larger units.  This unit is perfect for couples or a small family household. Always highly regarded.  Very happy with the purchase.

Great microwave

This small microwave is the perfect size for my small kitchen. It replaced a Sharp microwave of identical size that worked for 10 years! The operation options are basic, easy to use and are perfect for my needs.

Always works well and is well made.

I no longer needed a large sized microwave so I bought this to downsize. It replaced my 22 year  Carousel SHARP 1100W which was still going strong without issue so I was able to give the old one away.!! This new oven basically works the same with a few new features but I needed to get used to the smaller size. The cavity obviously is smaller but still fits a 10 inch dinner plate for width and just fits the stand up Ben's Bistro microwave rice packages for height. I have not had to make any drastic cooking changes because of the lower 900W power. It is black inside instead of white so rather dark. There is an interior light that is somewhat helpful for seeing but definitely not as bright as the white interior with light. I rarely rate items but am so far very pleased with my purchase. My last SHARP microwave was excellent so I hope this new microwave will have the same usefulness and longevity, hence I would raise the rating to 5 stars.

Great little microwave at a reasonable price

I did my due diligence and read numerous reviews before choosing a microwave. Sharp had the most positive feedback, and I needed a new one in a hurry. My husband is currently undergoing cancer treatments, and I needed a reliable microwave to help him prepare quick and easy meals.

The microwave arrived in about a week, and we set it up right away. It worked great at first, and we were happy with it. We've only used it about 12 times so far, just to warm up coffee or reheat small items. However, not long after, it started making a rough grinding sound when the carousel spins. Additionally, the piece in the center where the tray revolves is loose and comes off easily. Now, I'm concerned that spills may leak inside because there doesn't seem to be any kind of seal.

I'm deeply disappointed by this. Also, it takes longer than a minute to heat up my coffee, which shouldn't be the case. It feels like "quality" is just a word these days, not something that's truly reflected in the product. I'd appreciate a refund, an upgrade to a better-performing model, or some resolution to this issue. Thank you  in advance
