This machine is versatile and easy to use. I bought it to make a raw-edge appliqué quilt for my granddaughter, and the pre-programmed stitch styles have been such a bonus... I also like that I have the flexibility to adjust stitch length and tension with the easy-to-use buttons on the machine. The pdf manual gives clear instructions, and the sewing table attachment makes quilting much easier, too. Great little machine and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I bought two for my two Granddaughters…..one has had it longer and immediately starting making all kinds of make up bags with zipper, lining some then made a super cute jacket from a quilt. The other one is takin lessons but thrilled with the machine.

Purchased this as an early Christmas present for my wife - she picked it out and has been wanting to get back into sewing for a long time. I gave it to her early because she used it to make gifts for her family for Christmas. She loves it and uses it weekly.

I have a manual quilting sewing machine and wanted to move up a level. I saw this at a great price at Walmart. It's electronic and has a multitude of stitches and can free hand quilt along with embroider. I haven't tried either one but I am extremely happy quilting with it.

(Xmas'25) Great Machine with lots of Extras for a great price! Also lightweight enough to carry for Sew-along, with the convenient cover & extension table! Love it!

Great machine!

I am new at sewing and this was my first time actually sewing, I was able to watch a couple youtube videos on the brand itself and started sewing right after. I have started making book covers, since they are easy to make. I am learning and getting comfortable with my machine. I really love how easy it is and so far no complaints. The reviews on this machine are very true and if you are planning to make this purchase go right ahead. I did not want to spend $100 on a cheaper machine that would not last. I took a leap of faith and I am loving it. It has the quilting extension that is great. Even if you don't see yourself quilting, it's useful and you never know. You may step out of your comfort zone once you realize how easy it is to do. :)

First time sewer and I am VERY excited and happy!

This is a huge step up from my previous machine. The clear bobbin cover helps me to know when I'm about to run out, and I love the button that allows me to end the stitch with the needle in the down position for easy pivoting. Otherwise, the needle will always end in the up position, so you vont have to spin the handle to make sure the needle is fully up before lifting the lever and cutting the thread. The buttonhole foot is very nifty. So far I've made a baby quilt and a flannel jacket for my dad, and it's a great machine!

Great for the price

My wife wanted to begin some light quilting and patchwork projects.  This is her first sewing machine so it is taking some effort to both get into sewing and learning the machine.  No manual came with machine and the online version is still creating frustrations for her.  In many cases, you have to find a support video that may span multiple machines OR look at some very limited content pictures to figure out the instructions on your own.  All in all, it is a learning curve but can be managed as she gets more experience and use of the machine.  

If you sign up for Singer emails, prepare for your inbox to be hit at least once a day!  I really want them going to my wife's email but since it was a gift, they have my email.  Ha ha.

Good sewing machine, manual support is limited

It actually quit working and needed $100 worth of repairs after only using it for about two months. Everything I made was super simple and it decided to quit working. 

Very disappointed but what do you expect now that singer, like everything else, is cheaply made and all plastic.

Broke after 2 months of barely using it.
