I am really happy wirh this adjustable dress form.  As a knitter who designs patterns, it is crucial to check my pattern fit along the way, and this is the only thorough and accurate way to do it.  I dont have to rip my designs back to adjust fit nearly as often.  I wish they would make a form just for blocking knitting pieces!

This is a great product. I love the adjustability of it. The only thing that could use improving is the stand tightening system. It is really hard to tighten it with just your hands. If I use tools to tighten it it will stay, but if I just use my hands, the stand slides down.

Singer Dress Form

Very well, only the bust is too large at the smallest possible position of the dial, which should not have been the case according to the size chart in the description. Because it was quality and cheap, I decided to keep it despite this small problem.

Good product for my purposes. I wish there was a way to anchor the base.

Good quality

The tightening mechanism for the height needs to be changed. I am a young 20 year old male and tightening this so the form doesn't slide down is extremely hard. I can not imagine that if I am having this much trouble how bad it is for other customers. I work with heavy fabrics so I need it to be tight without sliding down or killing my hands trying to tighten. For the high price tag I feel this part could be made with bigger grips so it's easier to twist.

Too hard on hands to tighten.

If you don't tighten the pole tight enough (hard to do), it slides down. Also, you cannot adjust for being short waisted. The fabric lets you stick pins in easily.

Pole slides down

1) torso doesn't attach to stem, it just sits on it and is easily pulled off (to fall) 2) height measurements are in cm, we are in America where we use inches, and besides- the cm doesn't appear to give the right height. 3) Instruction book has nothing about setting height to measurement. It does have something about conversions but confusing and I haven't found where they can be applicable, yet. Should have a suggestion to measure the person at the shoulder and the markings on the stem should coordinate with that (in Inches!)

Good for Europe, not US. Find else that has inches
