Ease Of Use

It seems that the quality of clothing has declined, so I have been happy to pay a local business that only does alterations to mend or alter an item.  I will still pay her for alterations; however, the mending I can easily do.  I only stumbled when I tried to thread the machine the first time, but I found a video with instructions on youtube.  This machine is lightweight, so moving it from the closet to the kitchen countertop to use is as easy as accessing a roll of paper towels in the pantry.

I purchased this machine when my 20 year old machine's motor burned out.  It is lightweight, stitches adequately, and is entirely appropriate for a new sewer making repairs on clothing or other household fabrics.  It is not heavy duty and strains the motor to sew on jean materials.  There is no off button, so the only way to turn it off after sewing is to unplug it.  It would be easy to transport if needed.  All in all, it is fine for what I need at this stage of my life and would be entirely appropriate for a beginner sewer.

I loved the ease of ordering my Singer Sewing Machine and received it within hours as stated. 
There are instructions on the machine on how to thread it as well as in the Instruction Manual. I've hemmed two pants with my new Singer Sewing Machine and love the way it sewed. 
Anyone wanting a sewing machine, I really recommend buying the Singer Sewing Machine.

This is a great starter sewing machine . For new sewers.To thread  this is very easy.  It's easy to use.

Perfect starter sewing machine

I like the quality of the machine. It's a basic mechanical sewing machine with none of the electronic bells and whistles and fancy stitches but it will work great for the sort of sewing I do.

Sturdy and dependable. It's a Singer!

So this really is an amazing portable sewing machine. The problem for me and I think for many adults is that the space where you have to thread the needle is very small and my hands are just too large to actually thread the needle so I could never get anything sewn. However, it's lightweight. It comes with all kinds of accessories and the price is good. I think it's better probably for a young girl or even a teenager.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] By observation on line, i anticipated the sewing machine would be larger, but I didn't compare measurements.  It will be fine for a beginner.  It is lightweight.

I just got it today in when I open the box 2 pieces fill out I didn't think nothing of it until when I tired using this thing it ain't want to work the needle won't stay in place an then the thing that keep the clothing down keeps falling off too like I spent money on this thinking it was gone work man he'll nawl but imma see if I can return it tomorrow for a new one

soon as I took it out the box I realize it was a super beginner sewing machine not a real sewing machine so I'm returning it it may be great for beginner or somebody would like fabric but it's very small and very delicate

It simply didn't work. Issues with the bobbin and bobbin thread not being caught. Must be a Temu Singer because it is NOT Singer quality. Really disappointed since I wanted a portable sewing machine.
