I love this little machine!  I decided to down size to a simpler, light weight machine and I made the best choice!  I started making curtains the day I got it and am so very delighted with it's performance.  It's quiet, sews evenly when going from a single layer of fabric to multipe layers.  I highly recommend this machine for beginers to experienced sewers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't wait to use it!  It's perfect for a basic sewing machine.    I left my other machine in Michigan, which was a very old singer that still worked..and needed one here in Florida.  I didn't want to invest in a fancy one.  This is perfect for my situation to sew curtains, etc for our vacation home!

I got rid of an older sewing machine in a garage sale and regretted it a year later. I order this one because it was the closest to the one I had and this thing has been great. It's not the best for really thick material but that's to be expected. I've fixed plenty of clothes, made masks, and sewn curtains with no issues. Love this and I will not be letting it go.

The Singer M1500 has many features for a basic machine.  It works very well. The machine is easy to thread and loading the bobbin is not difficult.  Would recommend this product.

M15 nice basic sewing machine

It’s a great beginner sewing machine! Simple features and easy to use. I even tried some trickier fabrics (wools and thick knit fabrics) & it still got the job done!

Love the machine

I recently purchased the Singer M1500 Sewing Machine. I looked at all the videos and thought I had followed them closely. A woman is vocally walking you through the steps. She expains everything except which side the thread should be on when you place the bobbin in the machine. The machine kept jamming, so I slowly watched all the videos again and it showed her moving the thread to the right side before she put the bobbin back in the machine. After I did that everything worked fine. I haven't had a lot of time to do a lot of projects, so I can't critique it a lot. But so far it seems like a good machine for the money. That video should be updated so other people won't have the same problem.

Good Sewing Machine

Jams easily! I just tried to sew two layers of thin cotton fabric that was serged and it's jammed! They make the screws impossible to unscrew so you cant open the plate and see if any thread is underneath. Poor quality
