This is great. Cuts smoothly, and through surprisingly tough material. Never heard of these a few weeks ago, and now couldn't do without it.

Worth the cost.

In today's day and age we order a ton of stuff online and slowly build mounds of boxes that need to be broken up and taken to the recycling center. This tool makes that job quick and easy.  Also good for cutting other thin materials around the house

Overall i recommend this product . it helped make one of my Jobs easier. There are just a couple of issues with the multi-cutter however. For one , sometimes if cutting something stiff, the material or board can hit the battery stopping your forward cutting motion. Secondly. the cutter needs a little LED light on the front to help see your cutting if following a line.

Helpful Tool

Needs more blade speed and a bigger feed area where the material comes into contact with the blade. I will continue to look for better options more like power shears.

Not very powerful, couldn't cut through 1/8 in piece of wood panel in an awkward place under sink.  It failed me and could not complete project.

mediocre-disappointing

The performance of this tool was terrible compared to a 10 year old 4 volt version I have. I finally realized the tool came assembled incorrectly. They had assembled it with the blade running behind the guard instead of in front of it. Took the blade off, and bent the guard into the correct position. Placed blade in front of guard . Cuts better and sharpens the blade now.
