SLOTDOG slices perfect criss-cross slots into your hot dog that expand while cooking and capture Smoke and Grill Flavor. Juicy squares with crispy caramelized edges grab hold of toppings, seasoning, rubs and sauces for a flavor infused experience Simply push SLOTDOG down on your cold and firm skinless hot dog with an end-to-end rocking motion until blades cut to your desired depth. Pull the hot dog away from the blades carefully and repeat on the other side. Using SLOTDOG on both sides will prevent curling when cooking. Grill and watch the slots expand as the hot dog cooks creating crispy caramelized juicy squares that grab hold of your toppings. Delicious fun for all ages. Enjoy your awesome tasty SLOTDOG hot dog and share them with your friends. Durable precision stainless steel blades are easy to clean. Simply place SLOTDOG blades facing down in the top rack of your dishwasher after each use. SLOTDOG doesn’t just make your SKINLESS hot dog look amazing, it also helps it cook quicker by heating right to the center of your hot dog, and even taste better by creating crispy caramelized-edged squares which grab hold of your toppings with a Kung-Fu grip! For best results: Use SLOTDOG on skinless hot dogs without a casing. Slot the hot dogs while they are still cold and firm, right out of the fridge. Very cold and firm (but not frozen) hot dogs right from the fridge work best. Hot dogs that are too warm can be too squishy to slot, and no one likes a smooshed dog! If you're in a pinch, tossing overthawed hot dogs back in the freezer for 10-15 minutes can help firm them up before slotting. Will not work as well with: casing/skin-on style hot dogs or sausages. The natural or collagen casing hot dogs/sausages have a skin that is usually too thick and hard to slot, so stick with a good old SKINLESS hot dog and slot to your heart’s content!

Hot Dogs

Love this. Know first that you dont roll it easily over the frank but rather use this as a press to make an ordinary dog easily without splits and bursting, but rather grilling marks and an even cook through. Did I mention that I love this?

Love this product so much !

walmart.com

I was really impressed with the thought and workmanship that went into this tool. It is sturdy and well made and will take plenty of downward pressure when scoring your hot dogs whether they are regular skinless franks, bun length, jumbo or quarter pounders. This tool will handle all lengths.. It's best to use a side to side movement when scoring the hot dogs. The depth is well controlled with a sturdy backup platform on the opposite side of the stainless steel slotting blades. I'm sure you will be satisfied if you decide to purchase one.

Slotdog Hot Dog Tool a Must Have

Seems kinda silly but I love this thing! My grilled hot dogs are amazing! Took it to a big neighborhood function, and everyone raved about the hotdogs. They were just regular hotdogs - nothing special, except I cut them with the Slotdog (which I got on a whim). Definitely makes a huge difference! Highly recommend!

Fantastic little gadget for grillmasters!

Simply amazing. I can't eat another hotdog at home without it. built to last a d priced well for the sturdy heavy construction. I find it easier to use when the hotdogs are still somewhat frozen. I you use it with completely thawed dogs you could smash them or cut too deep. Awesome gadget. Get you one, you won't be dissapointed.

Your gonna love it.

Very cool and unusual gadget when eating brats, polish or hot dogs.

Hot dog cutter worth viewing how it is on YouTube.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This worked amazingly well! I ordered it for a work party and there wasn't a single hot dog left! My boss even said it's the best hot dog he's ever had!

Makes a great hot dog!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my hubby. He loves hot dogs. He loves it and uses it every time we have hot dogs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought it was a little expensive at first, but it seems very sturdy and well built, wide enough for larger sausages, and it needs to be fairly sturdy to break through the sausage casing; you gotta push pretty hard, which makes the sturdiness make sense, which makes the price make sense. I am happy.

Neat! Very Niche but works well

Very unique Love it. Works great. Makes hotdogs look like they came from a top butcher shop!!!

Mac Dogs

When I first used it on my pellet Smoker I was pleasantly surprised. It imparted a great deal more smoke flavor than without it. What a flavor boost.

Slotdog

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to use it on 24 Hotdogs. It performed as said on three or four. Then the blades started to clog up. I suffered trough the rest. A piece of S%23*°in my book and at the price it cost me.
