This unit was purchased to see what the benefits are in having a sound bar connected to a Sony TV. Was it worth the extra cost, well for films and entertainment it does give the video some depth and souinds great. There was surficient bass sound and setting up the unit was very pleasant and easy. A great unit to have available.

Need more speakers than just stand alone sound bar

Connected th sound bar to a new Sony tv. Either it's a failty machine or I'm shocked ar how poor the sound quality is. I've tried reconnecting a couple of times but no use. The sound bar will go to the tip next week

Very poor

Losses audio after 10 or 20 minutes, even connected through the toslink only. If you press any button like voice on/off, or sound field, sound returns for some time and then it goes silent again.

Ueseless

Not happy with the soundbar tried everthing to make it better and was told you need rear speakers.  The advertiing was very vague and did not mention rear speakers wee needed.
