Brightness

I have had 3 of these over the years, each improved in terms of bulb (incandescent vs LED) and recharging (AC adaptor bs USB). All have lasted ~5 years, so not too bad, but you have to use to use and cannot keep them only for emergencies. I am disappointed that they have been discontinued, but all companies seem to do that whether they need improvement or not so that they can increase the price.

I love how very very bright it is once charged! The length of the ray is so long, I shined it towards the stars and it was still bright at the end of it! GREAT purchase!

The Spotlight is great. The charge lasts longer than expected and it works perfectly. Liked it enough to purchase a second one that I keep in the basement for emergencies.

I recently purchased this spotlight to replace an old Stanley spotlight. It puts out a lot of light and I like the convenience of being able to set it in different positions. I would highly recommend one of these spotlights to anyone wanting to light up an area.

Rechargeable Spotlight

I've bought 2 of these lights...gave 1 for a gift. LED light is super bright, battery holds up well (estimate about 40 minutes usage between charges). Only negative is the short length of the handle; also needs a lanyard included with the light. Overall, probably the best light I've ever owned.

Excellent product; super bright light

It's bright, focused, lightweight, and doesn't "eat" batteries. The flip-out stand is also great for hands-free use. My only criticism would be it's a bit "nose-heavy" - would have preferred a slightly larger handle to balance it better - but that's a "nit". Also like the dual chargers that came with it (AC and car chargers).

Haven't owned it long enough to critique battery life, but if that turns out to be satisfactory, I'll love it!

Does what it's supposed to!

Stays lit for MAYBE 45 min. That's plenty for our purpose. "What's he barking at out there?" Oh, a raccoon. Bark on.

Too short-lived as a work light. Handy features: HI/low, flip-up stand; car and home charger, lock-on light switch.

when it will stay on, it's great

Would never stay on after fully charged. It is Very dim!  Called the company like the tag on flashlight said and have never gotten through to anyone.

Bought it a few months ago, plugged it in, tested it the next day, worked fine. Power went out last week and went to reach for it and it wouldn't work.

Looked into it online and most everyone who owns this light for more than a couple months has the same issue. This is garbage, do not buy it. Sam's should stop carrying it.
