Seems well made, but only used once so have no idea how it will hold up.  Head is cheap chinese iron, but what isn't today?

Great for light chopping, camping, would not be suitable for heavy wood splitting as the ax is light weight!

This is a good axe,very balanced,best bang for the buck,I'm pleased with my new hand axe and it's only 3 pounds so it's perfect for outdoor adventuring

I bought this axe to split stove wood ( 7 to 8 inch thick pieces) for a small potbelly wood stove. It works very well for this purpose. The axe has a White Ash handle 24 inches long that I can use one handed if need be and at two pounds works better than a hatchet that is usually about 1-1/4 pounds or a standard axe at 3-1/2 pounds. The axe head is not ground very uniformly but seems to have a good hardness and temper and at less than $20 bucks was a good deal for me. Hope this helps!

Shorter than expected but durable and effective!

Quality is decent, but it is not sharpened. I had hoped to be able to use my new axe right away, but now I have to wait until I can find an axe sharpener ... very disappointed.
