Ease Of Installation

Value For Money

Connectivity

Wi-fi Speed

Setup typically takes under 10 minutes with minimal effort.

Compact device with quick internet connectivity.

Found to be lower compared to other sites.

The kit works as advertised and connection to the satellite system is accomplished easily. Surprisingly, we used 33 gb of data in just 3 days. There was no access to video or gaming, just online news and answering email. So, as well as the mini works, calculation of data consumption is a bit of a mystery.

Absolutely stunning !!! With An inexpensive plastic suction holders ( sold separately ) I have attached this to my inner side sunroof and have high speed internet all over even when driving in no cell service areas — great for kids in back seat and with a separate power station ( sold separately) you can take this anywhere and have high speed service whenever including driving75 plus mph — plus a great back up system in case internet goes down - truly amazing !!!!

Incredible! Get this now !

Great handy purchase for camping or long drives where we hit out of cell range areas . Was easy to set up with starlink and they didn't charge any fee for setup and starting services when I signed the device up to starlink . Great purchase

Fantastic buy

This is an upgrade to my Starlink Gen 2 kit, this Mini is much better. It's smaller and more portable and with the router built in to it the reception is better at greater distances. The number of aftermarket accessories available for it is amazing, I bought a tripod with batteries in it so there are is no power cord needed. The $229 price is almost 1/3 of the Gen 2 receiver.

An incredible receiver at a fantastic price.

This thing works great! I work in construction as an inspector, where now everything I need and do is online. The site I'm on now has very little cell service, so staying online and completing reports was almost impossible. The only thing I can criticize is that I didn't realize how much data there is in a speed test! 9 gigs on the first day. I couldn't stop checking the speed!

Love it!

Starlink mini is a great option for those who are highly mobile, very remote, and have very limited space. Hiking, motorcycle camping and riding in remote cross country (BDX trails), or just off-the-grid but still need reliable communications, but can't afford Iridium prices? The Starlink Mini is for you. works as well as the larger version un most conditions. There is some limitation if these is partial sky coverage by trees, but other than that, it's a great item. Open sky provides reliable and fast internet with just a 12 volt 3 amp DC power supply. But the Starlink Mini will work on 12-48VDC using 15 watts at idle, up to 60 watts with the Wi-Fi router on and snow melt heater. Use of the ethernet connection without the wi-fi turned on reduces the power consumption to about 18-25 watts.

The Starlink Mini can eve be powered by USB-C PD, so if you have a larger power bank (Over 10,000mAh) with USB-C PD output you could run your Starlink Mini off that for a few hours. Using a very large power bank like the monster sized Renogy 72,000mAh PD would likely keep your communication up for several days. But you can't fly with this power bank, even in your carry on.

Personally I use a Goal Zero 200, a 100 watt solar panel and have run for over a week with the Starlink Mini, an ethernet cable and a 17" laptop. I also keep my GPS and iPhone 6 charged. All that fits withthe rest of my kit on a motorcycle. As a bonus, I can connect my Verizon Wireless Network Extender to the Starlink Mini and have solid 4G-LTE cellular service hundreds of miles from the nearest cell tower.

Simply works and is very portable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this rating because price of equipment was awesome. As far as overall satisfaction and product quality. Let's see how the honeymoon goes. Then if it deserves a 5 star, I'll give it one.

I really wanted them like this device and appreciate the nicely designed setup, guide and packaging, and of course, the product itself is well designed. But the big flaw is that you should be able to check with their app if your location is good for the device before you buy it rather than waiting until you unboxed it to find out that there's not enough open states around it and have to return it.

Nicely made, but didn't work where I needed it

I purchased this item understanding it could be used in US but the power plug is European, plus there is no connection from Starlink to my equipment.
