Taking inspiration from two-handled Spanish paella pans, the round 34cm Staub Double Hanlde Skillet has a round edge and offers ample space for dishes such as paella or risotto which are made using large quantities of several different ingredients. The two handles make the skillet easy to handle and it also takes up very little space when food is served on the table. Staub double handle skillet are made from enamelled cast iron, which distributes heat evenly over the entire base of the pan right up to its edge. Cast iron also retains heat for a long time, so food stays warm and tasty even when transferred to the table. I've used it for making pizza.  I've used it to make burgers on an outdoor grill.  The higher walls are nice. Eventually I'll use it to actually make paella lol.

This thing is a beast!

This pan is beautiful, as are all of the Staub pots/pans that I own. There are supposed to be visual imperfections, however I can't see any. I love the black matte interior finish and the fact that no seasoning is required. This pan is exactly the size I wanted, however at 13.5" it is heavy-be prepared for that.

Big & Beautiful

LOVE my new pan! I already have one in black but I needed another so I can make meals in both pans to feed guests. Color is beautiful! Durable & flawless - barely noticed any imperfections.

Perfection!

Received the pan.  Have yet to cook with it.  One VERY minor flaw on outside.  Otherwise perfect!  Looking forward to using it for the Holidays. Leaving it on the range for décor since it is so nice to look at....

I gave this as a wedding gift. I have enjoyed a Dutch oven that I purchased, and feel the quality of the Staub is excellent so I gave as a gift.

Paella

I bought this pan at a steep discount and it does have some imperfections on it.  Hence the price.  It has been a terrific pan.  Staub enamel is bullet proof.  Very durable inside and out.  My only complaint is that it's a slightly strange diameter.  Maybe because it's metric.  I bought a 13" Pyrex lid separately for it but the edge of the pan is a little bigger than 13" and the lid is a strange fit.  The edge of the pan is a little bigger than 13" and the lid sort of fits inside.  I just think they should make the pans to standard sizes to avoid this.  At least give accurate metric/ standard dimensions of the outer and inner edge when buying them.  Otherwise staub makes le Creuset seem cheap.  No, they don't have all the colors but it's very well made.  Maybe Staub will make lots of different colors as well but I'm fine with basic grey.

Great cast iron pan

I tried using this skillet and I found the food was stuck and that this skillet performed worse than frying pans less than half of its price.  I used other enamel cast iron pots and food never stuck like it did with this one.  Plus B stock items do not care a warranty which is outlined in the documentation that comes with the skillet.  So there is no lifetime warranty and therefore do not buy this making that incorrect assumption.
