Stem traps catch gnats! We go in and out of the house all day. Even though we use a bug spray service (mosquito & gnat) for our yard, we still have gnats. Some are so tiny! While I was at the grocery store, a friendly lady told me about the product. They were on sale at the time. So I tried two, one for each of my backyard doors, and was amazed by how well they worked.

I like the style and started using.  However, since no flying insects presently are around because of extreme cold, I un- plugged for warmer weather use.  I know I will like it though
because it appears like an attractive blue night-lite and no strong odor when plugged in.

I had gnats coming in my apartment and this light catches a good bit. I also bought another item to guide them to the light. But using just the light within 10 minutes they were already on the sticky trap.

Effective

Works really well for catching fruit flies, mosquitoes, and other tiny bugs. How long it lasts depends on how bad the bug problem is. Mine lasted about a month before I replaced it. By then, so many bugs were stuck to it that the sticky surface was pretty much covered. The light still attracts bugs, but once the sticky area is filled up, there’s not much for new ones to land on.

Great if you have indoor plants

I have houseplants so I wage a constant battle against fungus gnats. This works great and is less of an eyesore than the yellow sticky traps. Also doubles as an ambiance light. 
I have kids so using chemicals isn’t really something I want to resort to and treating the soil is only part of getting rid of them.

Your refills are hard to find!!! My retailer does NOT carry refills. I spent a lot of time looking for refills!! Finally spent a lot of time on the internet.

Absolutely didn’t work. I observed fruit flies flying all around it and even landing really close to the sticky pad surface; but never getting any closer to it . So it was definitely no attraction whatsoever! I even tried to bait them to the device,  by smearing a small amount of grape jelly on the sticky pad surface; but to no avail . Waste of money unfortunately.

I purchased 1 Stem %26 1 Zevo and did a 24 hour test. After 4 Hour's I Noticed that the Zevo until had 12 Gnats and the Stem had 2, so I switched location's. The Zevo Unit worked much better!!

I know it is a risk buying one since there were a lot bad reviews but I still tried it since there were way more good reviews that is saying it works well and can catch a lot of bugs. If it works for you, then congrats your momey didn't get wasted! If you have the same result as mine, welcome to the club.  I didn't expect much but I still hoped it might work since I stay away from bug sprays. Unfortunately, it did not work for me as well. It was only able to catch 1 fruit fly in 1 month. I used one with the light and I hanged the other one on top of my garbage bin. Now I just have a spare blue night light XD and I won't be buying this again.

1 fruit fly in 1 month

this did not attract bugs. I have several fruit flies in my house %26 thought this would look better than my long sticky hanging trap. I tried this and for over a week I only got 2 on it. I think it was just by chance. meanwhile there's still a bunch flying around my home %26 kitchen. I had much better success with diy apple cider vinegar %26 dish soup. Bummer because I was hoping this would work. my husband thought it might be related to us having a night light nearby. But need the night light to stay so maybe others will have better luck if their room has zero other lights for the bugs to go to? idk.
