Stem traps catch gnats! We go in and out of the house all day. Even though we use a bug spray service (mosquito & gnat) for our yard, we still have gnats. Some are so tiny! While I was at the grocery store, a friendly lady told me about the product. They were on sale at the time. So I tried two, one for each of my backyard doors, and was amazed by how well they worked.

I like the style and started using.  However, since no flying insects presently are around because of extreme cold, I un- plugged for warmer weather use.  I know I will like it though
because it appears like an attractive blue night-lite and no strong odor when plugged in.

I had gnats coming in my apartment and this light catches a good bit. I also bought another item to guide them to the light. But using just the light within 10 minutes they were already on the sticky trap.

Your refills are hard to find!!! My retailer does NOT carry refills. I spent a lot of time looking for refills!! Finally spent a lot of time on the internet.

I'm not sure if it's due to our location, but this brand did not help with removing flying insects. We have a different brand in our living area downstairs, and it works well. Hopefully it's just due to our location (Hawaii, so unsure of how the weather and humidity affects the insects here), not sure how it may work with other climates. Gave two stars simply because it didn't work in our home.

Doesn't work in Our Home

I have had it for a week - I have kids and they are in and out all the time and we get flies … this has not gotten a single one I have seen thriving in my home

I had really high hopes for it, but unfortunatelly It doesnt really catch much of anything. I have fruit flies and it cought 4 of them, but it took weeks for that to happen after i plugged it in. In my observation fruit flies aren't attracted to light whatsoever(even if you eliminate anything and everything that smells good to them), they response to smell, so they are more interested in my trash can if theres organic waste in it, then in this plug-in device. But i keep it plugged in as it at least caught some of them. Better then nothing, but it doesn't resolve the problem.

Did not meet my expectations.

I have an older one, the cheap paper-board kind, that has collected 12 gnats in two weeks. This one has collected NOTHING at all in the same period. I even switched the two's location after one week, in case one had the "sweet" spot. Just complete garbage. Does nothing at all.

Absolutely didn’t work. I observed fruit flies flying all around it and even landing really close to the sticky pad surface; but never getting any closer to it . So it was definitely no attraction whatsoever! I even tried to bait them to the device,  by smearing a small amount of grape jelly on the sticky pad surface; but to no avail . Waste of money unfortunately.

I purchased 1 Stem %26 1 Zevo and did a 24 hour test. After 4 Hour's I Noticed that the Zevo until had 12 Gnats and the Stem had 2, so I switched location's. The Zevo Unit worked much better!!
