Great purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally bought one for my granddaughter and then my grandson. Two years later we had another granddaughter and when she was two I bought another! Now our fourth grandchild has his own and we have four motorcycles parked side by side in our family room.

I have a Family Child Care home and the children LOVE this motorcycle. The first time I bought this Step2 motorcycle was at a yard sale 5+ years ago. Yeah the red is fading and the stickers are gone but it's still in GREAT working condition especially after being used and fought for by 12+ different children. So, I finally ordered 3 more motorcycles a couple of weeks ago and the children are now super happy.. and so am I because I don't have to hear the yelling, crying, nor fighting for the motorcycles anymore. LOL

GREAT! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

Bought this for my (large for his age ) 18 month old grandson.  Product arrived, ship-to-store, before the due date.  Assembly was straightforward.  A touch of dishwashing detergent will make getting the handgrips installed much easier.

After a little trepidation my grandson tried to ride the scooter, and truly enjoyed it.  It is light enough that he could easily control it.  The four, narrow track tires provide sufficient stability for him to enjoy it.

For The first step the round plastic rings are bit tough to push in with the hammer as recommended would not go in. So i ran the red plastic frame of the motorcycle where the rings go under hot water just enough until the red plastic got soft enough to push the rings inn and it worked fine heat expands plastic. After that the building process was easy.

Honestly....

This is the second Step2 motorcycle I have purchased as a gift for 2-3 year old boys. They both love it and it gets plenty of use both indoors and out!  Well constructed and not to hard to assemble. Though I did need the help of some stronger hands to help me put it together.  Would highly recommend for any active toddler!  And it's made in the USA!!

Kids love it!

Purchased this for my sons 2nd birthday and he hasn't gotten off it!! He's a very tall two year old and will still be able to use this for quite a while. My 5 year old hops on it too! Great gift! I would have given five stars but it came with a defect on the handle bars. Would still purchase again, and probably will for future gifts.

Perfect for toddlers!

I purchased this for my 2 year old for his birthday. That was a mistake, it's made for an older child that knows how to balance. It was the perfect size for him but he didn't know how to balance. My 4 year old however can ride it but he is almost too big for it.  By the time summer was over he was just learning how to ride it on a flat surface. I wish  it was noted that the child would have to balance on it. For the price and limited amount of time being able to ride it by skill and size- not sure it's worth the price. He will be able to ride it for the summer he is 3 years old which is only 4 months max here in Minnesota.

Great Idea but...

My 2-year-old grandson loves this:) He rides it all through the house.
