It is perfect once you get it set right, the area I needed it for was 54" and this was almost too small. All the bolts have a notch in them so far down that makes it complicated but I'm assuming that is the " safeguard " for the sturdiness. All in all, this is a great and very useful gate for  whatever you're needing to keep an area off or limited limits. The " no hands" ordeal? Because of the sturdiness this gate provides, it hurts if you don't have shoes on because you have to slide and push the top of your foot upwards against the gate so beware if your barefoot. Highly recommended but it is a hassle if it's not correctly set right.

It does exactly what I need it to. The gate unlocked during installation in spite of the cable ties, and made things more difficult.

This gate was easy to install and holds up well. The door can be a little tricky at times to open, but it also has an option to open using your foot. I like the width options on this gate.

Great Expansive Gate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was fairly simple to install. It had extra sections to add if you needed it to cover a larger area. It is a little more difficult to open but I love that for my older grand daughter. I really love how tall this one is too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Thruway Gate with GlieOpen is an awesome baby or pet gate! No more are the days where I have to try to step over the gate an worry that i'm going to trip and hurt myself. The easy glide open is a perfect little door to open and walk through. The gate is super sturdy and has a very nice finish. I definitely recommend this gate for anyone that needs a gate without all the stepping over hassle.

Awesome Gate!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this gate because my friends recommended it.  I haven't installed mine yet, but knowing from experience, I really like the ease of the gate.  I feel it is secure enough for a child to not break through.

Secure Gate

The gate is nice looking so it's not an eye sore but the description says 30-60 inch and that's not true it does not fit where I need it which is a headache. So I haven't been able to put it up yet but looks nice so 3 stars.

Does not fit

The option to use your foot it useless, if you dont also use your hand!   There is a lock that has to be undone each time as is with other gates.  I was planning on being able to open with my foot most of the time when my hands are full.  I kept the one we installed already, but definitely returning the second one!

Not recommended

Don't bother with this if you need something over 4 feet blocked off. This does not get anywhere close to the up to 60 inches the description claims to open to
