Worked great, cut off about one inch from handle end and welded a nut to the threaded end. As the tee handle was in line with the sink drain pipe and no room to rotate. With the nut instead I could turn it with a socket and extension.

Slight Modification makes it better.

walmart.com

Worked perfectly to extract a compression nut/ferrule from a 1/2" copper pipe.
Remove the nut from the bad valve by turning nut clockwise.
Turn the nut counter-clockwise to put the nut on the tool.
Turn the handle of the tool clockwise to take the nut and ferrule off of the copper pipe.

Great Tool

Good price and works a treat, but only on 1/2" copper pipe compression fittings. You need sufficient room for its' length and to turn the handle. There are other more compact tools available but at a substantially higher price.

Great tool

Good product, good price, prompt delivery. Good Compression Nut/Sleeve Removal Tool!

Worked like a charm to change six faucets shut off valves to 1/4 turn push connect valves. Be sure the support plug goes fully into the copper tube before pulling on the ferule.

Must have for copper fittings

I've used alot of compression ring pullers and too often reused the existing rather than go through the punishment and pain of trying to get some off... sometimes when removal was necessary, I've cut rings off because the pullers didn't work... With this tool, I have no qualms about pulling rings, I've even found myself "looking forward to it", in that now borderline bad valves I say "Let's change it before it becomes a problem", much better than "Welllllll, it's not really urgent"...

THE PERFECT RING PULLER!!!

Even if you only use this once it is well worth the investment made pulling the compression ring effortless , a must have for anyone to tackle plumbing

Used the tool to remove the compression ring and nut on an angle stop buried in the wall. Worked like a charm.

Smooth operator

the tool works fine. i ordered one but received two and was charged for two.
