Just purchased last night and i love it thus far. Simple to use and great picture quality even without a screen. Use it on my living room wall thats 15ft wide and it was amazing.

the video quality is good, I'm cheap and bought a cheap walmart sheet to turn into the screen on my wall. figured that way i can wash it once it gets dusty since it's a flat white sheet. Sounds good but not loud enough for me, so I hooked it up with RCA cables to a sound bar. You can download 3rd party android apps and install like Popcorn time and stream movies and tv shows off the web with the built in wifi. Also has netflix app and other apps. It has 16gb of built in storage for apps, two usb ports in the back and well as RCA inputs 3 cables,  and RCA outputs for sound only. Two HDMI jacks.  the price alone with the wifi would give it 5 stars, the video quality is good at 720p and is good enough for a budget projector.  I would of given it 5 stars but the sound not being loud enough for me brought it down a star. It sounds good just not loud.  But then again any speakers and these wouldn't be enough for a huge 160" projection on the wall, I just wish it had digital out for surround sound.

Great budget projector

1st off, this is not a hi end projector.  With that said, it's good for the price. As with most entry level projectors, it has to be perfectly straight to the screen to minimize edge blur. Also, the more keystone you need, the more the edge will blur. It may be 3100 lumens at the bulb. It's not more than 500 lumens to my 80" screen. (a bit deceiving) The speakers are a bit weak, but even the higher end units have so so speakers. I hook my sound to my surround sound system. Problem solved. A lower end Epson will look much better,  but costs $400 and a 5000 hr bulb life($200 replacement bulb..the $50 generic bulbs are dimmer than a worn out original). This rca has 50,000 hr bulb life. By then, get a new projector:)  For movies and gaming, this works well(hdmi for best quality). For power point presentations,  get an Epson or Infocus.

The sound is not great quality, has to have a surround sound system to make the audio quality better. The picture is nice but is a little difficult to get focused. Must measure back from the screen to get it correct but the screen vs. distance away is in meteoric measurements instead of in inches/feet.

It took some time to figure out how to set this up (did a factory reset a few times to start over), but once I did, it works great. Having familiarity with Android helps since the manual doesn't provide much info.  When installing Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Word and PowerPoint, I had to get the  apps from APKPure. APKMirror and Aptoid TV did not always have compatible versions and failed at install. I also plugged in a wireless USB mouse and keyboard in one of the USB ports which helped significantly with maneuverability and typing. After getting the setup right, I am now able to show PowerPoint presentations without plugging the device into a laptop, and can stream videos. I recommend plugging in a set of speakers in the projector to get better quality and louder sound, but the projector speakers are okay on their own.

Lasted about a year.  Also native resolution is only 480p even though they advertise 720 - but you don't really notice that much from youtube, but defiitely from netflix.    Mine won't even turn on now.    Plan on buying one every year.

Doesn't last too long.

Reason I'm giving this a 3 is because sound is horrible, and I can not have both sides of my screen adjusted, either the left corner or right corner are blurry and I have tried everything to fix this. also it is skewed on my screen the left side is about 6.5ft while the right side is about 5ft which could be the reason it wont focus entirely.

Why?

I purchased this July 14, 2018 and the first evening I had it working like a charm. It sounded and worked great for a total of 4 'big screen' uses then by the 10th day/5th movie,  in the middle of the movie, it stopped. It was no longer in range of my Wi-Fi connection yet I changed nothing within the settings.  Since that evening I had attempted to reconnect after resetting the RCA system to default twice but without success.  The system no longer connects to my Wi-Fi nor does the ability to use a mouse to bring up system settings; my Wi-Fi works as I triple checked hoping for an easy fix but unfortunately it was the RCA projector's system. Returned projector July 25th.

Thankful for Returns

I purchased this projector online from the walmart app and it arrived a few days later. When I connected everything up to my computer I noticed the the picture was blurry no matter how much I adjusted the focus. I tried various cables and connected the projector to a few different devices with no luck. I opened up the chrome browser and was greeted a couple of pornhub sites as well so I know this projector was not reaet before it was sent to me. I started a return but even though it says I could return through the store they said I would have to wait for the seller to contact me first so definately not the quick return service I was expecting

Bad projector

Complete garbage did not last 4 months, first the power supply burnt out, after replacing that the unit would not out-put video any more. complete waste of money. Also the 3rd party company that it was shipped from did not clear the previous owners info, so i had all there accounts still logged in on unit ( netflix, hulu, ect)
