This has been so helpful to untangle my Yorkie Terriers hair he gets on Tumblr that he look like a poodle I'd eat a little before I cut his hair I recommend this product really good

I have this for my English Springer Spaniel Sadie. It's wonderful for her mats in her feathering. Yes, it is very sharp so it must be used with caution. I also am careful for use close to her skin. I try to keep up with the mats so they don't get too big because I don't want to take out too much hair. If used carefully and not overused, it is an amazing tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dematting a Bedlington Terrier is a tough job.  This dematting comb actually helped -- which is a huge fete.  Not perfect, but very helpful.  It is a tough, well designed comb.

Works well

A dematting comb is supposed to be razor sharp to slice right through the mat. A serrated blade is meant to be used like a saw in a back and forth motion. I had to hold the hair close to the skin so that I wouldn't hurt my dog by ripping the mat out.
