Purchased this due to the attractive look in the photo. The rug is every bit as nice to look at in person, but very, very thin.  Upon receiving it very quickly, I opened it and placed it in the room. Very wrinkled and lumpy looking, but a couple times vacuuming, and a couple days later it layed pretty flat! There is no denying this is a beautiful pattern, but I question the quality of the yarn. I purchased a 10x14 at a great price....under $300.00,
and I think I know why. I have now had this since July and I live alone, generally don't wear shoes...and in front of my sofa it is becoming matted. The matting isn't terrible YET, but after 2 months it should not be at all! This rug is incredibly thin and that  may be part of the problem. You don't walk on it and think "Wow is that a nice cushy rug" it's not.   Anyway,  I guess I should  have known that a rug of that size for under $300.00 was not of the best quality. My previous rug I had for 3 days had no wear at all in the same room but it was a higher quality piece.  I wish I'd have known as this will not last...

Beautiful rug, very thin pile.  Won't last long.
