Can be true to picture, but may not match expectations.

Density of woven fibers is marginal, allowing underlying material to show through.

Made with materials and construction that meets expectations.

So glad we took a chance of this beautiful carpet. We decided to purchase this in 5x7 navy blue. We were skeptical at first buying a carpet on line. We took a chance and so glad we did. The The carpet arrived on schedule and was absolutely in perfect condition. We recommend this carpet from Safavieh..

Beautiful and as the review say.

walmart.com

Awesome quality for the price! Much bigger than I invisioned! The color is a little lighter than it appears online.
I am probably going to buy a non slip pad. It doesn't slip bad, but does a little. Definitely happy with my buy!

Oh yea, this about the 5th rug I've purchased for my living room! My husband is very glad I am keeping this one :)

Great buy!

It is everything that the advertisement said it would be. Including easy to vacuum. It looks and feels very nice.

Very pleased

i love this rug true to size true color description i got 8x10.its perfect ty!!!!

This rug is very poorly made. It is very cheap and you can see the actual base of the rug through the carpet. It isn't worth the money in my opinion. I was hoping for a soft shag rug but it definitely feels like cheap yarn. The white spot in the photo is the base of the rug.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I shopped forever for a rug to match one I had previously purchased in the past. This one said it was 1 1/2 thick. It is not. When you move on it you can see the bottom, it is not full at all. Very cheaply made. I never write reviews. So disappointed.

The reviews before mine are right cheap thin and can see the bottom of the stitch it's so thin of a shag, returned it in store as soon as I picked it up for a much softer thicker one that was on the shelf for the SAME price. Online shopping did not pay off.

Cheaply made see through shag

The color was not white as described
The pile was spaced too far apart therefore it looked empty and cheap
And it snelled horrible, like it had been in some basement for years! I returned it immediately!!

Horrible

Safavieh Athens Solid Plush Shag Area Rug on a light hardwood floor, featuring a dense brown polypropylene shag pile. It is placed next to a light gray sofa with wooden legs and an orange knit throw, near a woven basket with a green plant and a framed fish artwork against a white paneled wall. This Euro-style plush rug adds warmth and comfort to transitional living spaces.
