I have purchased 9 of these total and use the to organize jewelry components that are stored in plastic boxes. They are very easy to put together and sturdy. The other thing I like is they are stackable (I have them stacked 3 high). I would only make one suggestion: to make the slots so they don't tip and go out of place when you take something out of them. I can avoid this by being careful, but who wants to do that : ) The other thing I would say is that Sam's Club has the best price on these and it includes the shipping. I got them in 2 days. Pretty great.

Great for those people that have lots of papers to sort and keep separated. Also great for sorting magazines.
The quality is great except for the back which is cardboard and I just replace it with a really thin piece of plywood or you could use also any kind of stiffer material.

Great item

Pre-glued dowels would seem to make this even easier. However, if you soak them too long, the glue dissolves into the water; too short and they don't bond. If you need to re-position the pieces, you will need some glue handy, the pre-glued dowels will be dry.

The unit itself is somewhat flimsy and not nearly as good looking as the picture. If it will be hidden and you don't need something very sturdy, it will be OK. Just make sure you have glue.
