Like others said... definitely not taupe... they are a medium 
to dark grey.  Nice dishes though

A nice set but they are not taupe.  They are definitely grey with a slight blue tint.

A great value but colour is wrong

Impressed I bought 3 sets and none of them were broken, definitely darker grey than I was expecting

Not all finished on some dishes, mugs and bowls marks that look like chip but not glazed.

Colour is definitely not as shown in photo.  I was hoping for a more taupe tone.  Otherwise it is a nice set.

I ordered and just received this dinnerware ware set. Its not "taupe" at all as mentioned in the description. if youre looking for a warm natural tone, this isnt it.  Nice set, but its 100% grey. Will be returning, but would help if the description matched the product.

Its definately NOT taupe.
