I have a couple nails that are uneven so I like to use an undercoat. I was using another product because at the time of my initial purchase, this wasn't available. I'd much rather use Sally Hansen as their gel products are very very good.

walmart.com

works great. helps protect nails. love all of sally hansen products.

I have been using the Sally Hansen gel Polish since it came out! Bought the primer today and I absolutely love the product! This Polish last longer when I do my own pedicure then any salon I've gone to! I am a beach goer and always walk in the water and this Polish lasts for weeks!

Absolutely the best product ever!

sallyhansen.com

I used this product several times and had great success. It lasted from Sunday to Friday. I did light cooking and prep in kitchen, used gloves for heavy duty stuff. I work in an office and type all day. I took it to the Salon for them to use. I use all 3 steps. I use Sally Hansen's instant dry top coat for step 4. I even tried it with another brand's nail color. It lasted all week. My nails are short. Over the years I have learned to use my finger tips and not my nails when touching stuff. I polish my own nails religiously and have used all brands of products. This works.

It works!

This is fantastic!! Extends the west of the miracle gel nail polishes so much! I used to get 3-4 days chip free and now I get a week or more. First time having a manicure I did myself noticeably grow out lol. Only takes a minute or to too dry so definitely worth the extra step. Can't recommend enough

Amazing!!

This product lives up to the Sally Hansen reputation. Great product and good value. Love their gel nail products.

Love this nail polish primer. I actually use it for nearly every nail polish. I have. You put it on first and then paint over it. It keeps color on for longer and help smooth out consistency over the nail. I cannot rave enough about this primer

Great color primer and works for all nail polishes

influenster.com

A primer that perfectly prepares nails for color application. It adds shine. I use it on prepped nails, then a coat or two of primer, followed by a third coat of colored polish. I often wash dishes or do other housework, and the polish lasts a maximum of two weeks. With primer, it lasts me three weeks. It has a liquid varnish texture and smells like uncolored polish. It comes in a glass bottle with a convenient brush .

Primer

Sadly, I really wanted to hope this would make nail polishes in the same line last longer but I didn't find that to be the case. I followed the directions and used this product, a Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Polish and Miracle Gel Top Coat (the new Gold Bottle one) and my manicure still chipped after a few days. The bonus is this product isn't a traditional polish so it dries really quickly and is sort of matte finish (I guess it is supposed to help the first polish adhere better). Not sure if this doesn't work, the polish isn't any better, the top coat isn't any better or all three but sadly just overall nothing is improving the overerall length of traditional manicures at home.

Abby

First thing to know about this product is that it is a primer for before your actual nail color it is a clearcoat nail polish that is very helpful for you to get the best results for your nail colors packaging a standard. The value on this is an expensive and it doesn't have a very strong scent. Application is smooth and texture is basic.

Clear coat

The product name is misleading because when you see the word gel, you may think it's the UV cure polish. Every one popped off within hours and it wasn't until a few tries later that I realized it was not the right type of polish. So the polish may be great otherwise, I'm just reviewing it based off of my experience thinking it was the other kind of gel.

Not UV cure Gel

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel™ Color Grip Primer nail polish base coat in a clear glass bottle with white cap, 14.7 mL (0.5 fl oz), primes and preps nails for optimal color adhesion and longer-lasting gel manicure.
