These are the most comfortable trail shoes I have ever owned. I've purchased two pair now and love them both. My only con to these are, the break-in period. For about two days of all day wear, you can't really cinch them down. I left them undone for two solid days and that seems to do the trick. They are absolutely perfect after that!

The essential trail running shoe. Great on trails, great in winter with a thick sock and works well for hiking and other outdoor activities. I've been wearing the XA PRO 3D since 2006 and I won't stop any time soon.

The Go-To Salomon Shoe

BOUGHT THESE FOR WORK, WHICH IS SW ASIA. WALK ON ROCKS ALL DAY LONG. 3D'S ARE VERY STABLE, I'VE NEVER ROLED MY ANKLES LIKE OTHER SHOES I'VE PAST OWNED. THIS SHOE AND PREVIOUS PRO 3D'S I'VE BOUGHT ARE MOST COMFORTABLE. I HAVE BAD ARCHES/HEELS AND MY FEET NEVER ACHE. HAVING THE MESH ALSO ALLOWS MY FEET TO BREATH WHICH IS A PLUS IN THE HEAT.

HIGHLY DEPENDABLE

I think I'm on my 6th or 7th pair in the last 8-9 years? I wear them all day err'y day.  That should say it all.

The Perfect Daily All-Purpose Shoe

I had a pair of XA Comp's that I wore for years. Because of the durability I purchased these.  They fit the same and I hope they last as long.

Love These!

Bought my first pair in an emergency, and worked so well I bought again. VERY breathable and dry quickly when wet. 
My only downside is walking on sand - the weave is so open that the sand infiltrates and builds up underfoot.

Fits great, feels great, but not for sandy walks

I've been training with these shoes for about 2 months now. They are very good for types of outdoor training and gym work. However, I seem to have a problem with getting a hotspot on the inside of my right foot (arch area) when running longer than 2-3 miles. I've adjusted the tightness and tried different types of socks. They are not as comfortable as the Asics Kayanos for my 5'10", 200 lb, mildly flat with slight pronation stride. Other than that, they have been very good for weight bearing, other cardio and agility training!

Good trainer shoe

The durablity is amazing. I've had them for about a month, wear them daily in scrub and desert environment and have little wear on them. Very supportive as well, very well made shoe. 

The comfort is better than a boot but not quite as supple as a true running shoe, which I expected. That said, they work equally well walking as they do running. I have the non-gore tex version and the breathability is superb. 

The shoe runs narrow, I bought a half size larger to compensate for the narrow width.

I didn't see this comment anywhere so I'm not sure if I'm the only one who feels this way.  But, I've been buying these since 2005 and they recently changed the tongue where the Speed-lace lock goes and made it ridiculously fat.  I don't know about anyone else, but I find this wicked annoying.  Any chance you're going back to the thin and tight neoprene tongue pouch?  (Pictured below)

I bought these and was holding on to them to wear a lot this summer while I wore out the old pair. I only wore them a few places until recently, but now the Plastic has come through the heel area, again. This is the second pair! I bought the current pair while still wearing out the old pair. The plastic on the old pair dug into my heal and I had worn them quite a bit and hoped these would be different. The padding needs to be better or plastic must go.
