Comfort

These boots have replaced my old, worn out Salomons that have Supp on on many treks. They are comfortable, stylish, and everything that I wanted...except that the new design which has fixed laces up to the final notch, is difficult to get into, difficult to do lace tightening and forces the sock back, because the foot opening is restricted. Why did you make this change to a perfectly good designs. Not happy at all

I've just finished a 50 mile hike across different terrain in these shoes and can say they're pretty good! Very lightweight so good for distance, supportive at the ankle (which was a must for me) and pretty good grip. I recommend sizing up and double socking to avoid blisters. Only issue I had was that the laces were catching the hooks on the other foot and tripping me up, so make sure to tie the laces toward the outside of the foot to avoid this. I would recommend though :)

A great, lightweight walking boot

I walked 2 weeks straight on mixed terrain these were very comfortable but nearing to the end of my walk because there is not much cushion on the sole of shoe I felt like I was walking on the pavement and soles of feet quite sore but no blisters the whole time !!

Overall good shoe

I find Salomon so dependable for rough walking. This new purchase is lighter but the sole still provides excellent insultation against rough surfaces, yet remains flexible enough to allow an easy gait. The toe box is roomy for my problem toes, and the heel is superbly snug.

Perfect for me

I climbed Kili in them and they were perfect. No blisters. Great temperature. Super comfy. Breaking them in was minimal. They were comfy from day 1. I did have to go a size up though.

Disappointed in these. You need a good size bigger than you would normally take. Not as waterproof as expected. The laces coming undone very easily. If you lace them correctly they cut your ankles in half

wore this shoe non-stop for almost 2 weeks all over Patagonia. very grippy, so trecking on rocks was not a problem at all. 
never went into water w them on, so not sure how water-protective it is. 
i did hike in the Argentian summer, so wish that it was a bit more breathable, but overall amazing - light enough, durable, good-looking, and soft.
