This Salton Cordless Jug Kettle of 1.7 litre size is so simple to use!. Just add water and flip the switch to boil in seconds. The kettle switches off automatically when it's finished boiling. I luv the cordless convenience! I really like this feature also that the Stainless steel heating element resists corrosion and mineral build-up! In this way I know my boiled water is always clean.

I like the narrow model of the Salton wireless kettles and also they are easy to clean and descale

Practice

I realize this is a budget priced kettle, but the flimsy base and the cord causes the base to rock when the kettle comes to boil.  Also, an exposed heating element is the worst possible design. (I have other Salton kettles that are terrific.)
