Perfect

Renovating my kitchen and do not have my cooktop. This was a great save. It is also great for small and quick cooking.

Great kitchen helper

I have had 3 of these in the last 20 years. 1 was "lost" by movers, 1 is still used as a back up in our house and the one I have been abusing in my 90% full time vanLife in the Canadian wilderness. The last one needs replacing after 3 years of every day use and being bumped and dropped etc. It still works, I just don't want to be without one. My first one lasted 12 years, college, miilitary, kids.

About hot plate

Takes a long time to boil water. Not efficient. Not durable either. The coil burns out and can no longer use.

Love the idea but shortlived

Takes 2 hours to boil water. Absolute joke, I threw it in the garbage.

I purchased this a week ago and it would not boil more than a litre or so of water. I've tried multiple pots just to try, no difference.
