I couldn't be happier with my new Samsung. It replaced our existing 42" Samsung that was just over 12 years old. The colours are bright and clear - it's a great TV.

I was replacing another Samsung which was working perfectly but needed to change to an articulated arm. Used the opportunity to upgrade to an OLES. The difference is very obvious. Sharp picture. Great fro dark colours. Able to see hair strands !!  Highly recommend. Set up is easy and intuitive.

As good as it looks.

We have had this beautiful tv for three weeks and so far so good.
The picture is "stupendous." Colours are natural, clarity is superb, and we have no difficulty finding our way on the Internet for program streaming.
We are not tech Gods. However we are slowly learning how to use this unit to get our max enjoyment.

So far we would recommend this unit to anyone who wants undistorted clarity in pictures and sound!
We watch Global news at suppertime and noted tonight some of the anchors were
not using makeup. It was noticeable. The clarity is outstanding. I worked in TV News
for 30 years so am well aware of the advantages of using makeup, not overdoing it but 
using it subtly to hide boo-boos, skin tags, blotches, sweating etc. Thank your scientists for inventing such a fab tv unit!

problem encountered when attaching to the wall. The hardware needed for this facility should have been understood so that I didn't have to look for the place where the tyrouvée was; the nuts it required weren't there. Fortunately I found them because I would have had a real problem because this TV had to fit on the wall and not on its support foot. A little inconvenience that could have been avoided.

Feedback on the installation

The app feature appears to be very limited, example, I just want to download the Canada Radioplayer app but I only see radio stations for United Kingdom. The Internet is also sluggish when attempting to download and bookmark a radio station. Our Internet connection is excellent, so it's not the problem.

Samsung TV Rating

Great picture. Controls and setting very difficult to access and understand, still haven't figured out how get rid of dimming of the guide. Samsung plus TV is a real pain.

I put the TV in touch with my computer. There are certain behaviors that I dislike like the loss of the image (disappears and reappears in less than 1s) on rare occasions. Less brilliant image with the computer in HDR... I am looking forward to the perfect integration between computer and TV.

This is one of the best TVs of 2023.

I'm not a fan of the titzen OS as I can not download apps to it. The on-screen volume controls can not be turned off (my samsung soundbar shows me the volume level). The ability to stay locked on a video source isn't there. As for the Picture quality it is excellent, but this model doesn't have anti-glare coating.

Not quite there.

Samsung doesn't update software for its televisions or monitors. So you can buy a great TV like this one and learn that you'll get annoying pop-ups when using the Samsung TV Plus service that you can't turn off. So your review won't be about the incredible tech that goes into making these screens, but about Samsung's non-existent software support.

Great tech but don't expect any software updates

This tv has a great picture! but.... It's not a rigid structure and bends slightly as you handle it to set it up. This damages the screen like it did to mine. Complete nonsense! If you can't set up the tv without a team of practiced unboxers and set up officers, you're hooped, like me. I DO NOT recommend this product. Find yourself a brand that has the brains to make a rigid tv so you can set it up reasonably without damaging it. The tv won't keep its settings after turning it off either. It's a hassle to have to reset it EVERY time I turn it on.
